Road Closures History
For a segment, it can be useful to have the history of closures, with start and ending, especially the most recent ones.
This could help in the management of some UR (a closed segment the previous days helps to think that the segment is still closed).
Great timing! We’re currently working on having the history of closures. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.
Yes please add the Closure status to the segment history.
Aso when a closure is suspended due to detected traffic.
And please add history of feed closures also. There is no info at all off feed closures.
Thanks @ojlaw for your answer. I'm using URO+ since some weeks, and indeed I found closure history. I hope WME will soon natively do that !
Natively WME does not show road closure history in the segment history it only shows Road Closure added / deleted. There is a script, URO+, that does provide this information. WME does provide more detailed history for some things and the fact that the script is able to pull additional data shows it's possible. I fully support this suggestion.
I don't believe in-app closures show in history. I often get URs for map issues reporting closures (because the Closure function wasn't obvious to the Wazer) and while I'm researching/following up for more info I later find a closure that appeared in the Discord closure feed for that segment. But I don't see that closure in the segment history.
If I could see if in history and I saw multiple in-app closures recently, I'd know Wazers saw it and closed it, leading to more confidence in closing it from within WME.
Closures already show with full details in the segment history.
I agree though that it would be nice for it to get a better presentation and under the Road Closures tab.
Note that, if the segment gets altered (split/merged), it will delete the history.
Yes, it would be much more useful to see what the closure was rather than just "Road closure added" in the history
Please take into account the partner feed closures. Those closures do not leave any history right now.
