    I too want to be able to send my current position to .e.g. my girlfriend, and let her track my current location for e.g. 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 12h, 24h, 48h...

    It would be great for her to track me when I'm driving home from a meeting.

    The available option to send your current location (and ETA) when navigating to a specific destination is not enough.
    Most of the time I use Waze I don't enter any destination address, I just keep it running.
