    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

    We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    Sounds like you are using the "brief instructions" setting. There are navigation settings that will give you the street name (usually 2 or 3 times) before the turn. Check your settings.

    It's very annoying to have Waze repeating instructions over and over when I deviate temporarily from the route, such as going into a rest area or gas station. The current method of choosing "Shutdown" is counter-intuitive and even confusing. A "Pause" button would retain the originally route but suppress repeating directions and recalculations until the driver is ready to resume the route.

    Especially now that we have the ability to add a geometry node anywhere on a segment, if a right-click could change this to a cut tool rather than an add node it would be so easy. Thanks for listening.
