    There is already a button to return to your current location. Also you can use Bookmarks with one bookmark set to your home location.

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

    We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    Sounds like you are using the "brief instructions" setting. There are navigation settings that will give you the street name (usually 2 or 3 times) before the turn. Check your settings.
