We plan to work on Android Automotive in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. The first issue you raised was resolved a few months ago; however, if you are still experiencing any difficulties, please feel free to contact Waze support here for further assistance. As for your suggestion to make all options available in the mobile version without needing the phone, we truly appreciate it and have shared it with the team for consideration. Additionally, we're happy to inform you that the Heads Up Display (HUD) feature you suggested is now live.

Please prioritise having a fully functional AAOS Waze application, it is a Google ecosystem OS after all. At the moment tthere is very limited and inconsistent integration with the Heads Up Display, no display of the green progress bar in an average speed zone, only works full screen (covering other UI elements) and multiple other issues. At least in the Polestar 4. Please make it more usable.
