satellite roads
I do understand the possible changes behind the scenes of the app but i honestly believe satellite roads is safer and more efficient for drivers as it provides a clearer view of the roads being driven on and not confusing drivers as it is confusing with cartoonish roads that nearly blend in together making it hard to understand which roads to take especially on highways. I have personally experienced not only myself but also seen other users of Waze experience missing exits and nearly and actually getting on to wrong exits because of the confusing “cartoonish” Waze maps. These situations…

Zone de danger
Bonjour.

One of the Cantonese greeting is wired
For Cantonese version,
When we start the navigation, there are few versions of greeting. One of them is saying “上路”, this is really wired and uncomfortable as this term is told the person who pass away to go on his way to heaven.
There are numbers of Cantonese users get the same feeling.I think your developers may have a misunderstanding on this wording. Please help to remove it.
I have found another recommendation is the same but written in chinese years before. And it has no response for Waze. I try to use English to see if Waze can…

Retrospective (after arrival) information on route time via non-selected routes
This feature would show how long the drive would have taken had i chosen an alternate route. When caught in traffic one often feels I should have taken the other option. This feature would provide information, after arrival at destination, on how one would have fared had another option been selected.

Hazard duration
I've checked, and I can't seem to find this suggestion, if it's already here please direct me to it.
I like to suggest that the duration of some hazards be changed. In particular potholes and construction. Potholes where I am usually last for a month at least, and there aren't enough wazers to keep the ones that are already reported active, so an extended duration for potholes would it be helpful. Even if it were a day or two, it would let other wazers confirm that it's still there.
Construction, could last for a number of hours, or the remainder…

Push the start date limit for road closures an extra month in the future
Right now, map editors can place road closures at most one year in advance. When an event ends, they often announce next year's date. It would be handy if we could add those closures at that point, even if the event will take place like a weekend later next year. Now, we often have to set a reminder to add these next week or so. Therefore, I'd like to propose this limit gets pushed one extra month in the future, making the limit 12+1 months. It might be best to adjust this limit for some other related things, such as…

Hazzard confirmation UI
While driving it's very hard to use the Yes/No buttons, while paying attention to the road and hazzard that was just announced. I would suggest a large control with swipe left/right, that is easy to use without looking at the phone screen for long, and without trying to be very precise with your fingers on the screen. You could still split it in two areas, so a click on the left or right still work as Yes/No, just to avoid annoying users that are accustomed with the current UI. As it is now, I only use those buttons when I'm…

Set the audio in advance
There is a risk every time you open the app and set a destination: the app could disturb you with its voice without you being able to predict it in advance. It would be enough to place the voice control on the home screen, then before setting the destination.(Of course, it's always possible to go into the settings beforehand, but it's a bit of a complex procedure and is therefore almost never done.)

time zone temp fix
If it's too difficult to have Waze team fix the time zone issue, how about Waze telling the user the destination crosses a diff time zone and to display a warning that they should manually set the time zone on their phone to the actual destination time zone to prevent confusions/issues. That way, Waze won't adjust when crossing the zone and destination will display ETA correctly for the whole trip. At arrival, another warning could be to remind the user to set his time zone on phone back to "automatic".

For Vehicle Type Motorcycle
When selecting Motorcycle as vehicle type would it be possible to disable the on screen user interactive prompts/warnings for pot holes/vehicle on shoulder etc etc as responding to these is not a safe and viable option. just an audio warning would be sufficient with no response required from the rider

Add Road Closure Reporting to Android Auto
I’d like to raise this again because it’s a major issue. A report was already made last year about adding Road Closure Reporting to Android Auto and it gained hundreds of votes and comments, yet there’s still been no visible progress or update.
Right now, Android Auto users are stuck driving into the same closed roads multiple times because we can’t report closures directly from the interface. Using the phone is unsafe (and illegal without a holder), and even when pulling over to try, the route often recalculates before the closure can be reported.
This feature already exists in the…

Multiplas Paradas
