Don't display next turn on the app screen too soon
On a recent drive, I was exiting along a long cloverleaf exit ramp from a major highway onto a major roadway. As I entered the loop, the display changed to show the next turn. I realize that it said "in 5.4 miles", but the popup of the next turn grabs one's attention and was very confusing to see while I was on the exit loop.
Perhaps delaying the Next Turn message until I entered the segment of the road along the new roadway would have been better.
I can provide specifics about this case including a screenshot of the app…

Note, the above problem can be solved by allowing discrimination of chosen road segments while creating navigation route.1 vote -

English for South Africans
I nominate Darren Maule, a South African radio DJ, comedian and local celeb, to do English (South Africa) voice over for navigation. His voice can be soothing or silly, and there are no current options for a South African accent and colloquialisms (e.g. "Eish" you missed your turn off, and we call traffic lights "robots" etc.) You can find him on LinkedIn.

Dear Waze support, I really like your app and I'm using a lot. Because of that reason, I got second time a screen burn issue of the Yellow bubble on the right bottom corner.
This is the only thing during usage which is always on the same place and can't be hidden or put somewhere else.I'd really appreciate if you can spend more time about this non functional requirements in the future.

Please take into consideration the possibility to implement vocal posts, because if one is driving, until he notifies a pothole, he is already past the pothole and the information will not be accurate. If you can mark the place by voice, it will be easier to provide accurate information.

Safer operation
Be able to swipe left or right after selecting routes to switch to map view or list. Make alternate roots easier to navigate overall cuz you know we're using it while we're driving since since there's traffic

Minimum time buffer for changing routes
Please, please build in a minimum time 'buffer' under which Waze would not change the selected route. For example, if I put 10 minutes in the buffer, any route change which would save less than 10 mins.would not be made.

Las opciones ocupan la mayor parte de la pantalla en modo androi auto. Se necesita ver el mapa y no laa opciones... Estas se deberían ocultar...... O en modo horizontal en los smartphone..... En maps y petal maps se ve todo el mapa al girar el smartphone o en radios android auto

better display and choics
I have a 2022 Mazda C5. The fonts on the screen are in bold and not very sharp and clear.. Also, when I switch to Spotify as the main display Waze disappears.. Does not trade places like Google Maps. My display has a split screen, 60/40. Initially, Google maps is 60% and Spotify is 40% on start up. I can swap places, 660% Spotify and 40% Maps. Can't do that with Waze

New "Recent Locations" Screen
New feature with "Recent Locations" is of no value to me. The recent locations were already on your landing screen. There was no need to create this extra navigation step. I now have to take the extra step of navigating away from it and go to the old screen to type in an address. The extra step is time consuming as I use the app quite a bit, slows my day. Less is more folks, this is 2021, simple and quick was working well. Would be great if you can add an option to revert back to the old landing…

Sinds kort lever ik vis (hoofdzakelijk) te Gent. De vergunning om (tot 11u) bijna overal in Gent - centrum te levèren lijkt me niet aanwezig in de (Lange) lijst?!
