CarPlay synergy
When paired with a car play device the speed cameras on the map (especially on motorways) should be displayed similarly to the mobile version (with the blue circle) showing you exactly where the camera is located.

Gas price API for Austria
Gas prices in Austria has to be reported to the government and are available by api access.
It would be great if that can be included directly into Waze, so that we have always accurate prices and not 2 year old one.

When the expected turn is to the left, the distance is indicated under the arrows, however, if the turn is to the right, the distance marking remains on the left side and is not under the arrows pointing to the right. show route number symbol
Please show route number symbol next to the route name whenever traveling on a numbered route (or turning onto one). Often Waze will give only the route name while the road signs sometimes only give the route number. Subaru in-car navigation shows the route symbol next to the route name and it's very helpful to confirm you are on a numbered route and see exactly what route you are being directed toward.

Make Map Chats readable on Android Auto and CarPlay
Map Chats often contain useful information on lane closures or other hazards, but while their icons show up on the car's nav screen when using CarPlay or Android Auto, they can't be tapped on or read.
It is far more hazardous for me to unplug my phone, open the Waze app, and read the Map Chat than it would be to simply glance at my dash nav and tap the chat - you could even have the phone's TTS read it out while displaying it, then give the option to give it a thumbs-up.

Waze para veiculos pessados como ônibus de turismo e carretas
Sou motorista de ônibus de turismo e uso o Waze gostaria que tivesse como usar ele com rotas para ônibus de turismo ou pra carreta pois isso mas as vezes ele me joga em ruas que só passam carro de passeio e não veículos grandes como o ônibus que eu dirijo ou carreta,seria legal ter o Waze para veículos pesados.

Opción de autobus
Buenas.... sería de mucha utilidad si en la opción de Tipo de Vehículo" existiera AUTOBUS o CAMIÓN, Ya que hay carreteras o cruces en la que no podemos circular por la dimensión del vehículo que conducimos
Para mí ha sido una excelente herramienta de trabajo pero si actualizan esas opciones nos ayudaría a muchos. Gracias6 votes -
Have an easy to use "manual start/pause" button
It would be helpful to have a "Start now" button. I'll often set my destination while still parked, so the part about navigating out of the parking lot is the app getting confused over and over while I navigate out to the street.

Not sure if Waze does curves speed alert, that would be nice especially driving on a unfamiliar road at night or in poor visibility.

Mi sugerencia es si seria posible introducir un reporte que indique que hay un reten policial
La causa de mi sugerencia es porque en mi país hay hacen muchas retenes a cada rato y sería bueno poder identificar el retén policial con un reporte que nos indique que es un retén debido a que cuando reportamos que hay un policía no sabemos los demás no sabemos si se puede tratar de un retén y creo que sería de gran ayuda para los conductores más para los que vivimos en Panamá

No pop ups
I would greatly appreciate pop ups at the END of my trip, not During my trip. Twice tonight during my trip home, pop ups blocked my directions. AT NIGHT. I had to pull over once to re-enter my information as the verbal directions weren't happening either. This is a new problem that started yesterday, thankfully I wasn't on a trip in an unfamiliar area. Frustrating and scary

improve directions for intersection of Avenue Road and Glencairn Avenue, Toronto, Ontario
Traffic is not allowed to cross Avenue Road on Glencairn Ave., or to turn left - for both eastbound and westbound traffic. There have been many accidents at this site and signs are posted. Yet Waze sends vehicles across Avenue road in a manner that is contrary to local road laws. There is no light or stop sign at this intersection; traffic on Avenue Road is through traffic and not required to stop. Please stop sending vehicles across Avenue Road when they are traveling on Glencairn Ave. in Toronto, Ontario. The accidents cost all of us time and money.

Please, Please Stop The Waze Carpool Popup! It’s so dangerous! The Carpool Popups has almost gotten me into several accidents.
Please, before someone gets killed! Please put the Waze Carpool popup in settings for people that are not going to Carpool. Your Stupid Carpool popup has popped up right when a turn is coming up or a route change. The Waze Carpool popup comes up, COVERING MUCH NEEDED INFORMATION JUST BEFORE A TURN! I have to quickly react and swipe the IOS phone to quickly Get Rid Of The Carpool popup so I know which way to turn. While I’m doing that, MY EYES AREN’T ON THE ROAD. Seriously, I’ve almost had two accidents because of Your Stupid Waze Carpool…

show public transportation routes
We're in a climate crisis and everybody should drive less when there are alternatives available.
Waze should help with that by suggesting Public Transportation or bicycle routes when selecting a destination, when those routes are viable alternatives (don't bother showing a 3h bus route for a 10 min drive).
This could be similar to Google Maps and use the same data.
Just by showing that there are alternatives, the user might be tempted to try them.
This might be specially useful when driving in cities that have car restrictions, dedicated bus lanes or good bicycle infrastructure that rivals congestion, where…9 votes -
