Adding report options "Oil Trace" and "Lane Closed" for Germany
I've seen that in Hungary there's the option to report at least a Closed Lane. This is also relevant for Germany. For example a closed lane on a relatively well known route of a driver could be dangerous. He's expecting a certain amount of lanes but doesn't know the newest conditions on road.
So please enable this option for drivers in Germany.The "Oil Trace" report could be helpful as well. Often such reports are mentioned in the radio. It would be a step forward to more safety in Germany and the rest of the world to add this kind…

Delay Map update
I only use Waze occasionally, and far too often when I want to use it I can’t , because it immediately launches a “map update” that takes a LONG TIME DELAY, and I can’t wait that long. PLEASE give me the option to delay the map update until I’ve finished using it NOW!!

When driving on
When driving through a many level street/highway, you should be asked in which level you are driving, since, at this moment, the App can detect you on either level, which leads to misdirections; if asked on which level one is driving, one would get the most accurate directions.

API for OEMs
Publish an API that lets automotive OEMs marry vehicle data with waze functionality. Low gas tank could trigger pop up for nearest station, etc.

Category Icons and Provider indicator in Search Autocomplete results
When we view Search autocomplete results, and even when we view "more" results
* Show category icons, so we can see the difference between a grocery store, a gas station, and a bus stop. This icon could be in the donut hole in the middle of the pin icon.
* Also indicate which are from Waze and which are from external providers (perhaps by putting a blue colored pin for Waze results and a gray colored pin for Google results, for exampleUse case:

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

music interuptus
i use an external blue too connected to my cars AUX port. It would be nice if if the music could STOP play the WAZE announcement then start up again. I see other notes where they have to hit play again...obviously that would not be a benefit, only if it did it automatically.

Make the maps work
4 out of 5 times waze will not give directions. It is frustrating and almost to the point we do not even want to use it anymore. Service is fine and other map works fine i don’t understand.

Integration between Waze and car features.
Some cars already have the integration between waze and its onboard system, I believe this functionality can be exploited in the best way.
How to apply the improvements:
Speed: If the speed is higher than the speed of the road, the application along with the car system changes the speed of the CAR in colors such as green (below speed), yellow (speed near the limit), red ( speed above the limit).Petrol Stations: Check the percentage of gasoline in the car and inform the nearest gas station (thus the propagation would be more effective, since it would be a user…

Providing an alternative route if vehicle dimensions don't match
Waze would be even more impressive if the dimensions of the vehicle could be added by the owner of the vehicle. Thus providing safety entering tunnels, small roads etc and more important providing an alternative route

Add a simulation mode
Imagine you’re in a city or country that you don’t know and tomorrow it’s a monday, you have to be in a client’s office at 8AM. What time should I leave my hotel? I don’t know of monday morning I’ll find heavy traffic...
Maybe if waze had stored a traffic log (standards) from last week (for example), waze could give me (1 or 2 days in advance) a simulation of how long I’d take to head to my client’s office so I could get better prepared/planned.2 votes -
Adding raised road tresholds on Waze maps
It would be great to have raised road tresholds on the maps.
The tresholds are as dangerous as any other obstacle on the road - it needs a sudden breaking if the driver doesn't have information about the location of the treshold.
Usually the tresholds are marked poorly and not visible at all in the dark.
