Hacer más visible el botón de "cerrar" en la lista de playlists de spotify
Quería comentarles una situación que noté usando la integración de Spotify en Waze, que creo que podría mejorarse por cuestiones de usabilidad y seguridad.
Cuando uno entra a la vista para seleccionar una playlist desde Waze, el botón para volver al mapa aparece como “Cerrar” en la parte inferior de la pantalla. El problema es que este botón no está lo suficientemente visible o destacado, y muchas veces pasa desapercibido, especialmente cuando se está manejando. En mi caso, tardé bastante en encontrarlo, y descubrí que a otras personas les pasó lo mismo.

Closing tickets
I submitted a ticket. Customer service sent msg to inbox. I notice msg 4 days later. Couldn’t respond to question. Learned response button removed once ticket is closed.
There are 4 issues:
1) Notification of a new message is not prominent so users notice messages.
2) Even if you close a ticket, users should still be able to respond, reopening the ticket.
3) You should not close tickets when you see the message hasn’t been read.
4) Clearly your people are not thinking through your engagement with users1 vote -
Custom dpi setting
I have a car head unit that operates at 2560 x 1440 resolution with 160 dpi. The car vendor apps, including keyboard, have been adjusted for this dpi, however Waze app UI elements look very small on it and need to look twice as big to make it usable. It would be great if Waze had a setting to adjust its UI scaling factor to cater for such conditions. I.e., adding a setting with a scaling factor parameter would've solved this problem.

The cursor (your car location) is now located too low.
The street name blocks your car. Street mames blocks ntersections. Please add a feature to disable street mames.

Suggestion to Integrate Historical Street Name Information into Waze
Dear Waze Team,
My name is Avichai Simchi, and I am a graphic designer and UX/UI designer.
I would like to share an idea that could add significant cultural and experiential value to Waze users: incorporating brief historical explanations about street names during navigation.
Many streets in Israel are named after meaningful historical figures and events—heroes, cultural leaders, milestones in Jewish and Zionist history. Unfortunately, most people are unaware of the stories behind these names.
I believe Waze has a unique opportunity to bring our collective history to life during users' everyday journeys, strengthening their connection to Israeli and Jewish…

Correção da Palavra "Metro" no Mapa
A palavra "Metro", indicando a distância dos pontos de chegada e/ou saída, está sempre no singular, mesmo quando se tem metros (maior que 1 m). Gentileza fazer a correção, pois será metro somente com 0 ou 1 metro.

Possibility to disable splash screen IOS App
In latest IOS updates I noticed new beautiful splash screen while loading application, but currently it takes twice as much time, before it wasn’t existing on my IPhone 15 Pro. Is it possible to add toggle in settings to disable it?

100% repro bug
This is a bug report:
The issue is the app is unresponsive upon entering the search field which maximizes (latest iOS).
The way to reproduce this 100% of the time, ensure that when the app opens, you receive a pop-up suggestion for an upcoming frequent destination. You must then ignore this pop-up and initiate a search. This will cause the app to become unresponsive when the search function maximizes.
To work around this issue, you must first dismiss the frequent destination suggestion pop-up and you’ll be able to search and use the app normally.

Voice control for alerts - both acknowledging and reporting
To Avoid looking at screen to acknowledge or report warning. Tap screen anywhere and say ‘waze. Accident. Or waze traffic standstill or waze still there or waze no longer there. Looking at picking lists while driving is not a good idea I feel

Change Icons for Avoiding Tolls/Highways Etc
Right now, it's weird the way it's setup. The icons say "Avoid Tollls" or "Avoid Highways". When you touch them, they don't change their name but the image will put a line through it. To me, that feels like a double negative and is confusing. I wish it would say Tolls and Highways and when you click on it, then it would change to Avoid Tolls or Avoid Highways.

טכניקת הגדלת המפה בהתקרבות לפנייה
בעבר, כשהתקרבת לפנייה או נקודת החלטה, קנה המידה של המפה היה משתנה באופן רציף ומועיל.
לאחרונה השתנה האופן בו המפה נעשית יותר מפורטת, והשינוי הוא גרוע ביותר.
כעת, לאחר השינוי שנעשה לאחרונה, לעיתים (לרוב) קנה המידה לא משתנה כלל, ולא ניתן להבחין בפרטים, דבר שגורם לטעויות בניווט, ולעיתים ההגדלה קורית מאוד מאוחר, כאשר כבר מאוחר מדי לתקן. בנוסף, ההגדלה כשהיא קורית, היא גדולה מדי, מה ששם את הפרטים החשובים להתמצאות מחוץ לתמונה, ושוב- פוגע בה.
מדוע שונה האלגוריתם? המצב הקודם היה מושלם!!!
החזירו את המצב לקדמותו!!!

Blow up algorithm
There has been a Terrible change in the blow up algorithm lately.
In the past, the scale change when approaching a turn or decision making point was gradual and useful, recently the way the map scale chances is horrible.
It changes very very late, sometimes not at all, and when it does, it blows up too much, sometimes not all the relevant info is visible.
Why did it change in the first place? It was perfect before!!!

Have a place where known bugs, changes to features and timelines to fix can be viewed by users
Waze often has inexplicable outages or changes for certain features but there is nowhere to easily find out information in one place about known bugs, said that's not working, feature updates and changes. It would prevent a lot of angst if users knew that problems were known about and being fixed. Kind of like a live changelog or buglog.

Make the speedometer adjustable
Make the speedometer display adjustable to whatever the user sets. Just as a display. It should match the speed on the dashboard. Because that's what people rely on, not the satellite speed on their small screens.
If I'm driving 100km/h and the app keeps saying 90km/h then allow me to enter +10 constantly so it can match the speedometer on the dashboard.

Reduce size of lower notification box
Lower Notification bar too high and wide:
The lower bar that shows ETA, time and Km left occupies too much area of the screen, hiding vital information very often.
When there is a warning, like for example, an imminent radar, the notification box gets even bigger and covers like 1/3 of the screen, hiding something as vital as the max. speed allowed.
The lower bar could display the same info using one third or even less screen space than it uses now. I suggest you to reduce its size and maybe keep it in the left lower corner to allow…1 vote -
keep the X to stop navigation closer to the driver
move the X to stop navigation BACK to being closer to the driver. reaching up to the upper most right hand corner to stop navigation is too far

Road trip mode
We just drove 3200 km. It'd be nice to have a way to program the length of drive you prefer, with comfort stops (for kids/dogs). A way to program favorite restaurants, gas stations, etc. a connection to wiki info for points of interest or info about towns. A wildlife on highway hazard sticker. Bathroom rating system. How's that?
