Been using Waze for a few years now & was reviewing the comments & was a little surprised!!
This past Thursday (Thanksgiving day) we were traveling North from San Diego to the Newport Beach area when I was given a reroute, and a friend of mine was following and he wasn't using Waze (but Google Maps) but he followed me and later thanked me because the traffic had stopped completely and he saw the bad accident & delay. We were able to save ourselves a good 20 minutes by going around the accident that was on the freeway. Remember driver's choice
If the driver intentionally misses a turn for a different route based on his knowledge of the area (e.g. slightly longer, but better quality road) for multiple times, Waze should remember his choice and for the next time navigate through this preferred route by default.

Plan a route that DOES NOT go through a specific location
There was this HUGE traffic jam on a specific road due to an accident. Despite that, Waze acted like it is not aware about this, and all of the computed routes went through this specific road. It would be great for Waze to either add a manual option to plan a route avoiding specific place, or to understand from driver's behavior, that he has no intention or option to drive through this place. Instead, for all three available routes, it kept forcing me to turn around and go directly to the traffic jam.

Le compteur est beaucoup trop petit et illisible. On ne sait pas a combien on roule il faut se rapprocher de l'écran et plisser les yeux .... Utilisez vous l'application dans votre voiture ??

Visualización de nombres de calles
En navegación "sin destino" no se ven nombres de todas las calles, al menos se debe garantizar, saber por dónde se está circulando y las calles que se van a cruzar... mayormente no se ven. Depende la pantalla del teléfono celular. Así como también alturas de avenidas (numeración)

Knowing the direction of the closure

Why isn't the closure displayed in the app the same way it is on the Waze map editor?
We often encounter misleading reports where users believe the entire street is closed.
I believe it would be beneficial to add small arrows to the traffic closure, similar to those in the map editor, to indicate the direction of the closure.thanks!

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

Please add turn list to Android Auto integration!
New to Android Auto, long time Waze user.
Please, please, please add the turn listing to your Android Auto integration. I always check this list before I leave! I always want to know the details of the selected route, sometimes Waze just gets things wrong, or I know a better way.
Right now your users are blindly following directions and don't know more than one turn at a time.

The navigation system encounters failures with voice recognition.
For instance, when I clearly state my destination as "XYZ-City Main Station," the system responds with a generic acknowledgment like "Okay, I'll take you to XYZ-City!" despite correctly understanding my request. It navigated me to a random? position in that city. This inconsistency can be quite frustrating.

Tenho duas ideias incríveis que poderiam beneficiar milhares de usuários do Waze. A primeira é a opção de diminuir o brilho do aplicativo, especialmente para carros como o Onix e o Tracker, que não possuem uma função nativa na multimídia para ajustar o brilho. Durante viagens noturnas, o brilho intenso da tela pode ser bastante incômodo. Ter a opção de diminuir o brilho dentro do próprio Waze seria sensacional, especialmente para usuários do modo Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Aqueles que utilizam o Waze diretamente no celular já podem ajustar o brilho do aparelho.

Colour coded routes - showing traffic on route
Google Maps shows green, amber and red, so at a glance, its easy to see if there are issues on the route at any point along it. This is missing from Waze and would be a great addition, as, without it, you never quite know if you are heading towards issues.

שלום, אתמול נסעתי מירושלים לתל אביב. לא רציתי לנסוע מכביש 443. כשהפעלתי את WAZE הוא חישב מסלול דרך כביש בגין - 50 ובתכנון המסלול היה רשום שהשפניה הבאה זה בארלוזרוב. זה נשמע לגמרי אחלה וזה לגמרי כמו המסלול של כביש 1 אלא שבמקום שכבר לא יכולתי לשנות התברר שזה דרך כביש 443. לא הפעלתי בדיקה של מסלולים חלופיים כי ברגע שראיתי בגין ויציאה בארלוזרוב לא שיערתי שזה דרך 443. אני מציעה שבטעינת המסלול יופיע דרך איזה כביש המסלול המתוכנן בדיוק כמו שמופיע אם בוחרים לראות מסלולים חלופיים. ושזה יופיע גם בכותרת של הפירוט של המסלול בצד שמאל כדי שנדע בגדול…

Bonjour, partout en France sur les autoroutes il y a la radio spéciale Autoroute Info (fréquence 107.7) qui signale les incidents, voiture en panne, ...,
Ce serait top d'avoir cette indication; au message d'alerte de la radio "véhicule arrêté sur voie de gauche au kilomètre 172" on ne sait pas toujours où l'on se situe précisément.5 votes
