Regular commute notification
Like most of people, I have a regular work schedule, my commute to work is always the same time and route. I do not have to check my navigation app every morning, but when something unusual happens on my route, I think I should be notified.
Most of us are using navigation apps when traveling, or going somewhere for the first time. But most of our driving time is commuting to work. We should be able to program our commuting times and routes in these apps for whatever schedule we have. If we are driving fide days a week from…

Idea
I have both waze and google maps on my iPhone
I prefer waze as it is gets 99.9% if addresses perfect, and it’s just the best app ,
Google maps works on my large screen aftermarket car audio system via a connection cord to my iPhone , but waze doesn’t work can you make it so that it works !!! Some Screen Elements Not Readable
put a background border around time and other info icons near top of display. These are difficult to see/read when driving in cities because street names are also white font and the time becomes obfuscated on the display.

Venho por meio desta propor sugestões ao seu aplicativo.
1-Deixar nas configurações que eu determine no setup, se eu quero os avisos por voz ligado constantemente , pois no meu ele só avisa se tem radar utilizando a voz se eu estiver em alta velocidade, eu gostaria de poder ter a opção de fazê-lo com que desse este aviso independente se esta ou não acima da velocidade.
2- Está idéia agora já é mais ambiciosa, vcs poderiam fazer um mapeamento com imagem aumentada, por exemplo:

Faster map when moving
One thing I hate with Waze compared to google maps and directions is when you are in an area with where you have to turn onto several short roads and then turn quickly the map does not update your position quick like google does and I end up missing my turns. Satellite view would help with this.. I no longer use waze for directions. Just for the notifications along the route I am on. Also the speed does not update correctly.

Saptamana trecuta am parcurs 1500km prin tara, pe tot parcursul am folosit aplicatia Dvs. pentru limba romana. Vocea SIMONA nu stie sa vorbeasca romaneste. Este enervant modul incorect in care pune accentul pe cuvant ( vezi giratoriu, folosit foarte des). Am trecut si prin Targul Secuiesc acolo denumirile strazilor erau continuu stalcite de nici nu le recunosteai. Pentru partea vocala este nevoie sa alegeti o persoana cu dictie perfecta si o buna cunoscatoare a limbii romane altfel va face de ras aplicatia, Multumesc

Provide instructions and descriptions of screen icons
No reason to use Waze with no knowledge of icons or how it works. There is nothing of value on the Waze website except how to sign up. Complete waste of time. Next!

Zooming
Please let people zoom out or in as far as they want to not restrict zooming sometimes it is necessary to see the states that you’re traveling through for instance I carry concealed I need to see the states that I travel through and I cannot zoom out far enough to see the individual states please fix this as soon as you can

Exiting apps
Once you finished the planned travel, there should be a EXIT option, rather then extra steps to close the apps! Should be one step process, every clicks counts, when you are health care professionals.

En Ciudad de México, the mobile GPS not really identifies which track you are (central, express or side). It would be interesting that the user could "fix" warning in which the roads are really and so the waze calculate the route correctly.

receive an alert when entering an area where it is likely to rain on the next minutes "it might rain in the next few minutes on your journey" for example

The accuracy of the GPS location has diminished significantly. Often Waze shows me on a side road when I am still on a highway.

Also, often your server does not have enough capacity during rush hour and devices cannot connect to your network to get routing and road info.

Do I need a map
Do I need a map
A lot of my driving I know the route, I travel it every day and for there is no reason to change
What I need the the speed (Big Display)- speed alerts (When over the limit) - warnings - hazards, police and radar verbally called and heavy/standstill traffic when approaching recorded warnings within the last 30 minutes.
This would save on the map downloads and for me the use of mobile data, even though I have found this to be very small.

phone contacts to waze EASILY
why not make it really easy to add my gmail and phone contacts to waze?? Without having to search forever on youtube, google, and certainly not the waze website. I love the app, why can't I simply access my gmail contacts, etc....
