Allow a user-selected zoom to STAY until user re-centers map
Many times I want to keep Waze at a certain zoom level for a long time, but Waze automatically resets the zoom and re-centers by itself. What's wrong with letting the user set AND KEEP a particular zoom level until canceled by the user, with or without keeping the map centered on current position. It's very annoying to have to keep readjusting Waze to show what I want to see!

Bookmarks Import from Apple Map and GPS coordinates
I have many bookmarks in Apple Map and I would like to transfer them in a Waze, but:
- this option does not exist

When I start typing an address in the navigate bar, the default should start with a numbers keypad not letters

I think there should be an option where you can see the navigation between two places when you're not at either of those places.

Add way-point to route via map
Currently it is not possible to select a spot on the map and add it as way-point to the current route. This would be very useful to quickly modify the given route to personal preferences.

Need way to edit one lane bridge, due to long term construction, causes two way traffic to wait, traffic lights on ramps and road
Need way to edit/show one lane bridge, especially due to long term construction. Current situation causes two way traffic to wait while traffic lights on ramps and road cycle to allow only one ramp or roadway lane to proceed at a time from any direction.
No existing Waze edit function to mark local bridge that is under repairs and causing traffic delays. How can we show detour? All traffic is now funneled through one lane on bridge one traffic direction/lane at a time. No edit function to indicate this to warn drivers to avoid bridge, at least not for level…

The problem is, the app is always seeking for GPS location (even though when both the mobile location is settled in high accuracy and when using supporting apps to improve location accuracy). The problem is generalized in the whole country, just take a look at the comments on google play. The app is losing thousands of active users (Uber drivers) who upload information daily into the app. Everyone has been migrating to Google maps, though we find waze better, we have been forced…

Increase police warning distance
Waze users are warned of speed traps or police presence only about 600 feet ahead of time. This is far too late of a warning. With a clear line of sight, law enforcement can detect speeders at 1-2 miles out.
By the time the Waze warning pops up, you could have already been detected.
This feature – while very well intentioned and thought out – is useless with so little warning.

Include the official identification as an alternate name
Include the official identification of trade places as an alternative name form so that the user can search and find his destination through this information.
Example:
In the USA, the Tax Identification Number (TIN)
In Brazil, the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ)With this we can encourage the use of Waze by users of commerce and logistics, who use this information as standard in the identification of their customers.

Remove our tiny street from Waze. Not enough room for 2 cars to pass. (Lake View Avenue, 90039)
We live on a tiny street in Silverlake, Los Angeles that is technically 2 way, but only fits one car. Waze has increasingly been sending inexperienced drivers here which creates havoc because there are no shoulders or driveways to pull into (no sidewalks either).

Longitude and latitude is the most accurate way to find a location and leading you to. It is particular useful if you are out of city.
Hope Waze could search by longitude and latitude point and show a point by longitude and latitude. This is useful when you are not in city area, for example, hiking in a forest area.
