Adding rfid for the expressway to suggest correct toll gate
Maybe we can ask the user if they have rfid for specific expressway so that waze can suggest the correct toll gate. It will be good for newbie drivers that doesnt know that much on the current expressway

WAZE & canal/river watercraft in UK
Add capability for watercraft in UK traveling on canals/rivers. Provide notice when: Locks are closed - Submerged hazards - Locations status of canal side services - Narrow boat mooring vacancies - Locations of floating services narrow boats. Status of canal side pubs/markets ect

Bring back classic map view (ie. the magnifying glass and no “my Waze” and search bar. It is intrusive and takes up too much map space).
Please revert back to the classic map view. This new map layout is impractical and takes up way too much valuable map space when viewing in landscape mode. The magnifying glass instead of the two massive bars (My Waze and Search) was a far more effective use of screen space. At least give us the option to hide one or both of them.

Al igual que con Maps de Google, sería bueno que Waze permitiera elegir desde la app de Apple CarPlay el modo de visualización del mapa (día o noche) y que no tenga que ser obligación utilizar el celular.

Big truck on side of the road.
Hello, would you consider: an option for "Big Truck" stopped on the shoulder? As someone who drives a commercial motor vehicle over a 130,000 miles a year, I can tell you that the majority of cars on the shoulder are abandoned whereas the majority of big trucks on the shoulder are broken down and or getting service at the time and there's usually a human being somewhere walking in and out of the highway at the truck is being repaired. Make the previous/next song buttons larger in the Spotify window.
Make the hitboxes of these buttons larger, so it is easier to change songs while driving.
For example they could receive touches from the left- or rightmost part of their row in the Spotify window.

Get rid of info screen at start
Dear Waze UX design team,
I see that recently you made some progress on Waze's UI/UX.. unfortunately in the wrong direction, that makes the most important thing (navigation) slightly less accessible. For now, these "improvements" remain a minor UX nuisance compared to the good old major UX blunder: the info screen that comes up right after punching in a new destination.
The main reason for using a navigation software is to retrieve information about WHICH WAY TO GO next in order to reach my intended destination. The info screen pop-up is just 100% covering up this very essential information, exactly…

With Android Auto : the position need to be read even in backplane !
To enable Waze on Android Auto, we need to disable the average energy consumption, because the position needs to be read in backplane.
The solution could be to enalbe Android Auto to read always the position, like Waze on the phone.

The railroad crossing pop up covers the automobile icon so you lose track of where you are.
The pop up along with the other information covers your current location.

Während der Navigation über eine Taste eine Sprachnachricht zu übermitteln. Es werden damit auch alle Infos die sie benötigen, Route Position, etc mitgesendet. So lassen sich während der Fahrt Verbesserungen leichter zu ihn schicken.
