Please replace the roadkill icon with something else. It looks like a poor little hedgehog and it makes me sad. :(

quick Location marker button
Please add the option that with a click of one button or one touch of the screen that would mark the exact location of the incident or notification to be made. This would greatly improve the accuracy of the reports being made. From experience, reports are made a good distance away from the incident depending on how fast driving, how safe it is to make the report at the time, or how fast one comes up on the item to report.

Je trouve grotesque que l'on perde son compte lorsque l'on change de téléphone. Le message reçu de Waze lorsque j'ai voulu retrouver mon compte est hallucinant de désinvolture, c'est à peu près ceci : "Oups, ils semble que votre compte se soit perdu dans le labyrinthe".

Text colors
Presently, in turn-by-turn navigation, the distance until the next maneuver is in white an the name of the street/exit where that maneuver is to take place is in blue. The blue text is hard to read against a black background; and since the name of the street/exit is more important than the distance to it (IMO), I recommend switching these colors to show the street/exit name in white (and the distance in blue).

Pop up's won't close unless I close app and restart.
Can't get pop up to close. According to the net this has been a problem for quite sometime.

Notificatiosn need to be posted earlier in time to compensate for people who drive 70-80 mph on highway. That equates to almost a half mile
I will constantly get notifications after I have encountered them. Police, object on road, pothole, etc. Your system needs to make the adjustment for highway speed vehicles. At 80mph a half mile can go by in the 20 seconds it may take to post a notification. That is more than the length of time you offer the notifications...

Screen slide to reveal friends list feels very "trigger happy"
Have noticed it quite difficult to pan and zoom the live map without activating the "Friends" sliding drawer from the right side of the screen.

Report traffic lights with poor timing
I think there could be many benefits to reporting traffic lights with unapporpriate timing mechanisms, i.e. a light on a through street which turns red with great frequency when no cars or pedestrians are using the cross street. This holds up traffic unnecessarily and can cause further congestion. This information could be sold or provided to cities to help them use aggregate information to determine which lights potentially need to have their timing adjusted (Waze could aggregate the top 10 worst timed traffic lights in the city). car icon at bottom of screen when north up map is selected no good.
For North up map preference, your car icon should be centered on the screen not at the bottom of the screen otherwise you cannot see your path when you are heading south as it quickly runs off the bottom of the screen

Show only Icons/Alerts next to me
Sometimes when I'm using Waze it shows too many icons/alerts on the screen! why not show these alerts just next to me rather all over the map? Thank you!

I am in Puyallup Wa. We have speed trap camera's. It would be nice to be able to add them to the map.

An option for user to accept or deny autocorrect in input fields
I love Waze, but the new version changed my last name and wouldn't let me change it back. My last name is Dong, and it kept changing it to Don't. It's kind of funny at first, but no longer after a while. Please give me an option to input my own name.

Police notifications after the spot
Wish there was a way to move the report location. Many times the police running radar are stopped at a location on the interstate. By the time I get to post the report I've traveled maybe up to a quarter to half mile past the spot. No use to those behind me.

wake from sleep option could use enhancement
I like that we have the sleep option now. But instead of automatically waking when you bring the app back to the foreground, I'd like an option to allow me to keep the app running but in sleep mode until I choose to wake it.
