Having always the same zoom level selected by default to view the map
Having always the same zoom level selected by default to view the map, not the default zoom level imposed by Waze. In this case, I can very rapidly analyze the Waze screen on my mobile without 'eye and brain adaptation'. More safe for driving.

report of a gross navigation mistake
In driving north from beit shean, Israel, to Katzrin, waze constantly tried to direct me to go through the 65, instead of directly through the 90, even when I try alternate routes. This added a half hour. Its an obvious bug. Its happening ng now.

Change Minor/Major Accident to Minor/Major .
There often can be Incidents that affect traffic that are not "accidents", but all "accidents" are incidents.

Location Photos
Why, when I take a picture of the location I'm at (as Waze suggests I do to help other users identify this location) does that photo NOT save itself? Everyday I'm asked to RE-take the photo of my home and work. The feature isn't working on my Galaxy S5 and I'd love to see it stop asking me to take a photo everyday when I've already done it a number of times!

Build an Microsoft Band App for Reporting
It is sitting on an increasing number of users wrists. Would be a fast and effect way to collect data (reaching for my phone while in the car is not always possible and a missed opportunity to report sometimes). Device is cross platform so would be applicable to iOS, Android, and WM users. I would love just being able to report but could use notification as well or Cortana integration as I am a WM user. Simple few icons and a connection into the existing phone app is probably all it would take.

Preset messages (brake lights, lights off, etc) to other users
Whenever I pass a car whose brake lights are out on one side, or whose lights are off at night, I would love to be able to send the driver a short message to let them know. Preset messages that I could tap an option to send, like "Left brake light out" "Right brake light out" "Turn on your lights!" would be much easier than tapping out the whole message while driving.

Translation of place types to brazilian portuguese
It bothers me very much the fact that "GYM / FITNESS" was translated as "GINÁSIO / ACADEMIA" in brazilian portuguese language of the Waze application. It is absurdly wrong translated. It is like one had translated "GINÁSIO / ACADEMIA" as "SPORT ARENA / GYM".
Waze's resources (including Wiki) translation to brazilian portuguese, in general, is very poor.

Necessário melhorar o "Sistema de alerta de Voz" em Rodovias.
In urban areas, where the speed is lower, the voice warning system is activated at 800 meters, 200 meters and 10 meters indicating the correct side (left or right).
On highways where the speed is much higher, with higher risk of accident, the alert occurs at 10 meters. If the vehicle is not in the correct range, it will be virtually impossible to follow the route correctly. The voice alert system is very important.1 vote -

Larger Comment Box for Android
Its hard to backtrack or proofread the previous lines that have been typed when you can only practically see one line. Would be better if its like FB messenger where 3 whole lines can be seen at the same time.

Add Sounds to replace voice notifications
My wife hates listening to Sarah notify us of upcoming warnings. How about using sound clips instead (ex. siren for upcoming police)
