Make improving Routes easier
It's way too difficult to suggest better routes than the ones you give us. There should occasionally be a pop up survey of how the route was and if it needed improvement the box to write the " correct " route should be immediately available to complete. It's free consulting. Take advantage of it!

Ai asistent
I would like to suggest an improvement for Waze focused on driver safety.
My idea is to add a smarter AI voice assistant that can fully control navigation through voice commands. For example, instead of drivers typing destinations manually while driving, they could simply speak naturally:
- “Take me to the nearest gas station”
- “Navigate to Riga Airport”
- “Find a parking place near my destination”
The assistant could automatically search, select, and start navigation without the driver touching the phone.
I believe this would significantly reduce distracted driving and help prevent accidents because drivers would keep their eyes on the road…

Option to make reports in either direction of travel
Ability to post reports of road closures, traffic etc in all direction of travel, not just the direction gps “says your heading” for example if stationary in parking lot next to road and see something and want to report, there is no option to just click on precise location of road no matter what direction. Love this app but this is the one option lacking, you would think this option would be available by now. Kind of a very important issue?

make waze editor handle adding hours after 00:00
if i add time opening for the place, like 9:00 morning to 1:00 night
waze reject it and I should add new time like this
9:00-00:00
00:00 - 1:00this made separate periods and make the message "colsed at 00:00

Show routes with and without tolls options
I don't know if it is a problem limited to my phone.
Some routes suggested when "Avoid tolls roads" is set to ON may not be among suggested routes when "Avoid Toll Roads" is set to OFF.
In a few words, please add a "Show All Routes" and indicate which ones are with or without tolls by adding a note or using a different color font, etc.,1 vote -
Waze for Bicycles/Cyclists
Waze provides the most realistic arrival time, compared to GoogleMaps. I am a cyclist and I use GoogleMaps to help navigate my cycling route. The arrival time keeps changing and it’s hard to plan with friends when meeting somewhere in the middle of the route.
Hope that we can make Waze available for cyclists to use for navigation, where cycling paths (already available in GoogleMaps) can be made available in Waze as well.

Pouvoir choisir francais de france
Franchement outil carte très utile mais vocabulaire inapproprié en France. Le terme " serré a droite" veut dire se rapprocher de l'acotement. Si je veux tourner ou bifurquer dur la droite cela ne veut pas dire serré ( au Québec oui mais pas en France). De plus un virage sa tourne par principe donc le commentaire "tourner à droite (ou à gauche) est inutile et source de stress car on se dit que l'on a raté une intersection où on est en doute et du coup on s'arrête (perte de temps) pour vérifier l'itinéraire. Add the ability to bring up the list of roads on the Car Play screen.
Add the ability to bring up the list of roads on the Car Play screen. In Australia it is illegal to use the Phoine whislt driveing so we cant view the road list. Not aware of any other Phone app that has this feature

Nearest petrol station on the driven route
During active navigation, on android auto, when I search for petrol station I shows me the nearest one as the crow flies, but not the nearest one on my route. (As does google maps do.)
Sometimes it shows me a petrol station 2km away, but to get there i need to drive 20km, then drive of the highway, and drive 20km back.
Also zooming and moving of the map would be nice while viewing the petrol stations, to see if they are a viable option.1 vote -
