Implement a “Parking Ranger Alert” feature within reporting tools, similar to existing options for road blockages or traffic incidents. This would allow users to quickly notify others when a parking ranger is in the area, helping drivers make more informed parking decisions in real time.

Add voice notification when there is a mobile police camera in the opposite lane
I use Waze almost every day. I recently received a ticket and noticed that when there is a mobile police camera marked in the opposite lane (even on a two-way road), Waze does not send me a voice notification or warn me about it. Mobile police cameras measure speed in both directions. Can you make the app send a notification even if there is a mobile police camera marked in the opposite lane?

Background Safety & Enforcement Alerts
Add an opt-in "Background Mode" that alerts drivers to speed cameras, red-light cameras, and police presence even when the app isn't being used for navigation.
This would provide "passive protection" for daily commutes where a driver knows the route but still wants to be notified of real-time road hazards. To save battery, the feature could automatically activate only when the phone detects it is connected to a vehicle's Bluetooth.1 vote -
Link gas prices to regieessencequebec.ca in Quebec, Canada for real time pricing
In the province of Quebec, Canada there is a new law requiring all gas stations to update their prices within 5 minutes of changing their prices. The information is freely available from regieessencequebec.ca and there are already apps using this real time data. Waze should link to the government website and use its data that is updated in minutes after gas stations make any price change (they legally have to or face fines of $1,000-$4,000). This data is highly accurate and Waze could even provide alerts from it for users in Quebec, Canada.

Alternating Traffic
Could you create an icon to report alternating traffic during roadworks, using traffic lights?
Because everyone uses your icon for traffic lights that are out of order, even though that hardly ever happens...
Ideally, you should create a new, more descriptive one, as it would be used all the time.1 vote -

In bad weather (rain, fog, etc.), could you please avoid only signalling one side of the road? I’ve never seen rain falling on just one side of the road.

Increase notification for destination
The first time I used waze I completely missed my destination. Im used to my old map app zooming in and notifying me if I have missed it. Waze just assumes you have arrived and so I was lost after I missed my destination. There was also no notification to turn, it just assumed where I was going was in the middle of the road, with no sound to let me know when I have arrived and if the directions had worked. This makes the app unusable for me as rural areas sometimes houses and places are very hidden!

Autrement dit, si je mets l'adresse du service des impôts dimanche matin, eh ben je reçois une petite notif ou alerte pour me dire que votre destination semble être fermée aujourd'hui.
§ Autre exemple: je tape l'adresse du centre médical dentaire de ma ville à 19h30, je reçois de la même façon une alerte pour me prévenir que le centre est fermé à cette heure-ci.

Bloquear zonas o lugares peligrosos
Seriía bueno que a uno le permita "banear" o bloquear lugares peligrosos o considerados como zonas rojas entre sus rutas para que la navegación no lo tire a uno por ahí, algo así como permite bloquear ferrys, peajes, etc.
Aquí en Guatemala hay muchas zonas de alto riesgo que sí uno entra, de entrada le disparan, pero Waze no lo sabe y tira rutas para que uno pase por ahí y siendo que uno no conoce, se arriesga a salir herido o muerto de esos sitios.

Adding places to the list in the app just sucks, especially because it's not intuitive and there's no direct menu, but you sort of have to stumble into it. Frustrating when I need to add several places for a project, and instead of using my primary navigation app, I have to keep a notebook with the addresses on the dash.

I actually noticed another issue, whenever I go from NYC to upstate let's say Rockland county, ways will never ever send me with the Verraza
I actually noticed another issue, whenever I go from NYC to upstate let's say Rockland county, ways will never ever send me with the Verrazano bridge, no matter if it's a half an hour faster. The only work around I found is if I add the Verrazano bridge as a stop, but that's very annoying and doesn't give you a precise ETA.
