Country local voice for street names
Would like to have an option to pronounce street names in local (to the current position) languages, regardless of the application and it’s voice/language settings. I’ve drawn through several countries and it quite difficult to find right turn or lane at road signs, following “funny pronounced” voice instructions. However, would like to keep main navigation instructions as well as information messages in select language. Can this be implemented via using combination of native voice an TTS, automatically selected, based on GEO position?

Latest version of Waze is really bad. Instead of announcing “vehicle on shoulder” it now says “hazard” so while I’m looking for a rock…or
Vehicle stopped can be severe danger if the vehicle is on the road or on a narrow shoulder. A hazard is generally an avoidable pothole, tyre bit, rock or something in the middle of the road. Please return to announcing the hazard type such as vehicle stopped!

Radar audio warning trigger model
I don't know if this is a new topic or not, but this is a problem that I've encountered wherein the normal Waze behavior is almost like a bug.
How it works today
The visual on screen warning for a Speed camera is based on distance only. I.e it will always show on-screen when the driver is X meters from the camera.
However, the audio warning for a speed camera only activates if you pass the "detection distance" and are "over speed"Problem
In this specific case, the radar is a 70 km/h radar. The detection distance however is when…2 votes -

Improved UI for navigation & alerts sound opptions
A suggestion for an easier user operation and experience -
Currently, selecting the sound options - All, Alerts Only or None, requirs 3 clicks -
* Click the sound icon on the main display to open a pop-up window.
* Select one of the 3 sound options.
* Approve the change.Instead, the sound icon on the main display could be implemented and function as a toggle button, changing between the 3 sound options upon each click on it, and reflecting its status by a different icon display - All, Alerts Only or None

Why no Quebec french accent in Waze?
It's very annoying to be guided in french with a voice with a France's accent.
So many different accent in french from France but Québec doesn't deserve to have a male and a female voice?
