Accurate hazard/accident location
It would be nice if when reporting an accident or hazard that your able to specify which lane on the highway the accident or hazard is located.

The option to be able to mark speed bumps or potholes on the map for yourself or for everyone
Mark for yourself or others the areas where there are speed bumps or potholes to reduce speed in advance before reaching that area marked on the map and be careful, since in Mexico there are many speed bumps that are not marked, in addition potholes are common, and the fact of being able to reduce speed in advance would make many drivers take better care of their vehicle.

Type of hazard
Better options for reporting a hazard, particularly a hazard that is in live lane of carriageway. One example that stands out would be to report a car that has stopped in the live carriageway. Currently, I can only report a vehicle on shoulder.
Example: 'Report - Hazard - Vehicle Stopped in Carriageway'.
This is a very important reporting option.
Example 2: 'Report - Hazard - Wildlife in Carriageway'.
Basically, more hazard reporting options would be useful.5 votes -
Vehicle NOT “car” on side of road
Recent changes to the hazard reporting system has it calling a vehicle on the side of the road always a car, but the majority of the time it’s not a car it seems. Why did it change from vehicle on side of road to car on side of road? It’s like the folks at Waze have never seen a truck.

Blacklist police
When there are multiple police reports in the UK in one area it usually means there is a police checkpoint, recently there have been more in my area however me and my friends noted that the police also use waze themselves and press “not there” to remove warnings other waze users have put so that people do not realise and have to go through the whole headache of getting checked. A couple of ways around this could be that you require multiple different users to press “not there” before removing from the map or if a user has been stationary…

Going back to correct reported hazard
Since the fantastic (not sarcasm - I really like the update - for the most part) update after I attempt to report a hazard I’ve noticed if I tap the wrong category or want to back out to the previous screen, it cancels the entire report. Then I’m 1/2 a mile down the road and it doesn’t make sense to do a new report because the location won’t be accurate.
Please PLEASE allow to back out of the category. Forget people saying “too many taps to report” if you keep from changing the location of the options muscle memory takes…5 votes -
Blocked lane(s) selection
When a user selects to report a hazard on the road with either a stopped vehicle or object on road, display a view of that road’s lanes so they can select the lane(s) that are blocked for drivers approaching to prepare.

A new icon for new special officials that will check the cars co2 in lithuania
In Lithuania theres a new law that allows special officials (enviromentalists) to check any cars co2. Please make a new icon so people can report where those checks are happening.

One Touch for vehicle stopped on shoulder
For me 9 out of 10 hazard reports are a vehicle stopped on the shoulder. It takes 3 taps. I suggest to create a new button on the main screen that does the report in one tap only - like a macro. It will be safer and easie

Add an option for fire and ems
Take out the police option on the reports page and rename it to emergency services and put police, fire, and ems as options

Add speed cameras
Allow add new speed cameras, there is many in stoled in Cyprus and map doesn't have worning

Hazard Report End Date
Give users the option to set a hazard report time out or end date. It should default to something sensible for the type of hazard, but can be modified if desired.
For example, there are currently roadworks ongoing for a 2 month period on my daily commute while they are joining up roads and installing a roundabout. The road surface is gravel as they are replacing the road base.
Every day I report it, and almost every day it times out and disappears by the time I drive home again.

Add an option to disable the "still there" "not there" prompts.
This feature frequently covers directions, and I rarely pay attention to it. When I do notice it at all it's because I'm trying to check my directions and I need it to be gone. In those instances I rarely know whether it was actually there or not. I always end up hitting no because I didn't/haven't seen whatever it is asking about. You would actually get more useful information from me, by allowing me to disable this feature entirely. Because I know I have reported no on something that is actually there.

Can you please put an option for TRUCK stopped instead of just CAR stopped.

Add an option to report mowing crews
Add the ability for people to report mowing crews on the highway in Waze. These are a common hazard that people could run into, especially during the Summer months

Whiteout conditions
A report for winter whiteout conditions would be extremely useful and a great safety feature for those in the north that deal with these weather conditions.
Whiteouts are the single most dangerous winter driving we run into and they can come out of nowhere and effect very narrow sections of highway causing near zero visibility leading to pileups.5 votes -

Fewer taps to make a report
When using CarPlay (or even my phone when I'm the right-side passenger), to report a vehicle stopped on the side of the road I must tap the orange "Report" circle, choose "Hazard," "Shoulder," "Vehicle Stopped." In CarPlay, when driving that takes my eyes from the road at least four times to identify/locate/push the appropriate button to make the report. Rather than spelling out the words for each part of the notice - perhaps readily identifiable icons could be "stacked" under the headings. Add road closures that happen at specific times
For example, there’s a road on one of my regular routes that is currently undergoing construction and it’s a 2 lane highway so in order to work on it properly without traffic interference, they close the road between the hours of 10pm-5am Mon-fri. I noticed there is no option to report closures with a specific time frame which kind of sucks. I think it would be beneficial to add this feature as I know of quite a few other roads or ramps that close only at specific times.

speed trap warning.. along with the police warnings
I just passed a speed trap on the other side and I cannot warn them that there was a cop on the bridge clocking their speed.and cop cars lined up on the ramp to get them for speeding
