Avoid traffic jams.
I often travel with 3 kids on long road trips. Always rather be moving than standing in place with screaming kids and I am SURE a lot of people would agree. I recently had a trip take 10+ hours instead of the original 7 because of completely predictable and avoidable traffic jams on highways. Clearly not there in the middle of the night when I depart but jams there every day since they are because of ongoing construction work on a lane. I kind of assumed waze already tried to help you avoid these but I guess I was wrong.…

Talmudic Measurements
In addition to the imperial and metric systems of measurement currently available on the Waze app, would it be possible to add another system, which the voice instructions would use? I’m thinking of the Talmudic system of measurement (tefakh, amah, ris, mil, parsah). Many in Israel would be interested in utilizing these measurements because it would be a practical application of a currently abstract system.

Update in location details
The Neighbourhood Police Post in Hougang at Blk 357 Hougang Ave 7, Singapore 530357 has been converted to a 24 hours self-help kiosk post.

Add a PAUSE button
traveling from A to B often necessitates a stop for fuel, lunch, etc.
allowing one to push a button to PAUSE facilitates this without the incessant "make a u-turn" and other redirections2 votes -
Bonjour, avec les JO à Paris, pouvez vous intégrer les rues et les routes interdites à la circulation ?
Avec Les JO, en région parisienne, nous avons plusieurs rues et routes qui sont totalement fermées à la circulation pendant un temps prédéfini, et il nous est impossible d’indiquer à l’avance par exemple les rues qui seront fermées tel jour de telle heure et telle heure, si nous ne sommes pas sur place … ce serait très utile et Waze ne perdrait pas de temps à calculer de mauvais itinéraires
Il faudrait également créer en fonction du type de véhicule (les bus et les véhicules de secours peuvent emprunter des voies interdites aux autres véhicules)…1 vote -
Allowing to add more than one stop and stops during route planning
i've been using waze for a while and its the best navigation app i've ever had but theres one thing which bothers me since day 1.
i can't add stops during route planning and after starting the navigation, i can only add one stop so every time, i have more than one stop i have to enter a new route6 votes -
Distinguish crossroads where major road runs straight through from main roads with a 90 degree bend that have 2 minor roads at perpendicular
I have many roads in my area where 2 secondary roads meet a main road, where the main road bends at 90 degrees. Waze treats this as a 4 cross roads, when it shouldn't. It should identify the through road or priority Road from the adjoining minor roads. Waze instructs me to turn right up ahead but really I'm just following the road, there is no turn as I'm on the main road.

Avoid traffic on the route.
I think it would be useful to add a function or setting that avoids all traffic jams on the route without wasting time in everyday traffic.

satellite errorI "lern" roads by using front camera
Hi - so my idea is about dealing trouble with satellite error. I think that a good solution will be to "lern" roads by using front camera that in times (like this days in israel) that there is no single "waze" will continue working based on recognizing place from front camera and placed the location on the map based on data that our system got by learning the view from previous drivers.

Optimize route for ease of driving , safety
At present there is no account of how difficult a route is ie windy , how many intersections or how dangerous ie windy or heavy traffic.
The routes options do display shortest time and shortest distance.

3 idées pour faciliter l'usage de Waze
1) Je pense qu'il serait utile de permettre de rentrer les coordonnées géographiques (longitude et latitude) de la destination.
2) Pouvoir sélectionner un lieu sur la carte, en cliquant dessus, permettrait de choisir une destination que l'on connaît mais sans en avoir l'adresse.
3) il serait utile de pouvoir enregistrer sa position actuelle directement dans Waze (sans devoir se l'envoyer par message) pour pouvoir

Waze realiza cambios de ruta y no hay ahorro de tiempo significativo
Waze realiza cambios de ruta y a veces hay que hacer maniobras complicadas pero la mayoría de las veces no hay ahorro de tiempo significativo. Se debería poder programar que solo indique el cambio de ruta cuando el tiempo ahorrado estimado sea mayor de 5 minutos o el tiempo que elijamos. No he encontrado la forma de hacerlo.

Commercial Navigation
There are a lot of commercial vehicles on the road. I think it would be nice to give the user the ability to input the height and weight of their commercial vehicle including oversized and overheight loads. Editors would include clearance heights when a road level 1 crosses over a Ground level, level 2 over level 1, etc. as well as roadway weight restrictions as displayed on signage (eg: Weight limit 8 tons empty weight) as well as general commercial truck restrictions as displayed on signage. The app can then take this information into account when large commercial vehicle operators…

Carpool/HOV lane detection
Give us the option to comletely disable Carpool/HOV lane detection.
For two years now the app keeps telling me to leave the carpool lane every 1 to 2 miles, even when I am not in the carpool lane. Please give us an option to completely disable the lane detection so I can enter or exit it whenever I want to.2 votes
