Display actual GPS speed and not car’s info
When connected to CarPlay the speed on the supposedly gps speed in Waze always shows a 1km/h difference compared to that on the speedometer (at least in my case)
When NOT connected to CarPlay the difference is larger. At 90 km/h on the speedometer the speed in Waze is 85 km/h and at 140 the speed on Waze is 130. (Actual GPS speed)
When connecting to CarPlay a message says that the phone will use selected data from the car and this includes the car’s speed. However, this value is not accurate.

Feature Suggestion – “Follow a Friend” Mode
I’d love to suggest a new feature that could really help users who are traveling in separate cars to the same destination.
The idea is a “Follow a Friend” mode where one driver can request to follow another through the Waze app. Here’s how it could work:
• You enter your friend’s phone number or select them from your contacts.
• They receive a notification asking if they’d like to share their live location with you.

Speed Bump Permanent Hazard Notifications Persistence
The notifications for speed bump style permanent hazards should not stay on screen, once the driver has already driven past it. It does not add any meaningful information to the drive and only acts as a distraction or blocks part of the screen.

Zeitlimit für Meldungen auf 60 Sekunden erhöhen oder keine automatischen Übernahmen. Icons, aus dem gelben Dreieck, um Verkehrsvorgänge zu melden, die angeklickt werden, werden viel zu schnell übernommen. Zudem Funktion einrichten, um fehlerhaft übernommene Icons wieder löschen zu können.
Increase the time limit for notifications to 60 seconds or disable automatic transfers. Clicked icons from the yellow triangle used to report traffic incidents are transferred far too quickly. Also, set up a function to delete incorrectly transferred icons.

Different types of maps
I use Waze from a lot of time and I really like it, but it would be better if it had more kinds of maps other than the normal and the map editor one (like satellite maps and maps that show various conditions) like on Google Maps.

Allow users to Plan a Drive 1 or more months ahead of time.
PLAN-a-DRIVE: The Plan-a-Drive function on the WAZE app currently limits users to planning a drive only one-week in advance. We can not Plan-a-Drive for next month or next summer.
It would be helpful if we could Plan-a-Drive more than one-week in advance ... OR ... if we could simply Plan-a-Drive and save it for use at some point in the furture.

Verbal Speed Camera Alerts should be on constantly or make a button
In the UK, people loved Waze, simply due to its Verbal Alerting behaviour for everything. But a few months ago, speed camera verbal alerts were turned off if you're under the speed limit.
Not only is this dangerous but it could cause speeding tickets. Let me explain with this is problematic:
1) firstly, the main priority should be to get out eyes off the screens and on the road. It's self explanatory, if I'm constantly having to look fir the speed camera sign on the app and my eyes are off the road then this is a disaster waiting to…

Improvement
I’m a regular Waze user and I really appreciate how the app helps me plan my drives. However, I’ve noticed there’s no option to fine-tune the arrival time in smaller increments—like adding an extra 5 or 10 minutes to account for parking or walking time after I arrive at my destination.
It would be incredibly helpful if a future update could include more flexible arrival time settings. This would let users plan for those little extra minutes we need after parking, ensuring we truly arrive on time.

Shade
In honor of hot car month
Is there a feature to select parking lots with shade at this time? If not can one be generated by user feedback and AI rendering of public parking maps? It would be best to show which parts of the lots have shade. Along with marking multi lot parking garages that have shade and multi level building parking. Buildings that offer shade and based on the angle of sun to predict if the user will have a good percentage of shade during their park.1 vote -

Manual mode - route option for manual cars
The app already has an option to avoid hazardous / complicated intersections. My suggestion is a manual route mode that avoids large hills or road hazards that may be more difficult given a manual transmission.

Rompemuelles
Debe haber una forma de reportar rompemuelles, aunque sí aparecen en mi ruta la mayoría no se muestran, muchos rompemuelles están en las esquinas y el sistema no los detecta.

Remove parking icons. They hinder ability to see exactly where you’re trying to go in specific instances of massive surrounding carparks.
I literally couldn’t see exactly where the address was because of the 50 or so P icons crowding my screen and i was on a timed response on the job.

Add Old Penelope voice as an option for Spanish. The new voice is soulless. I miss Penelope voice.
Give me back Penelopes’s old voice. New Penelope’s voice is boring and soulless. If new voice were of a real person, I’d say that this person is lazy and listless.
