residential neighborhood safety
Do Not Route Traffic through residential Neighborhoods from all Directions. You are creating a complete road block with no escape routes during a Fire or Emergency.

custom road from A to B
Sometimes I don't care about the faster or shortest road from A to B and I will like to have a option were I can draw a line on the map from A to B and Waze to make a road suggestion around that line. Sometimes I have time to spend on the road and I want just to enjoy new scenery, new roads.

Special Camper and Caravan App
SO much better than google, TomTom, Garmin …. Please consider doing a special camper and caravan app, too, that will take narrow roads, bad surfaces etc into consideration. Would assume to have to pay for it.

Exit Waze when disconnecting from Apple CarPlay
I love Waze for longer journeys, using it with Apple CarPlay. But I don't need it for popping to the shops - i.e. most daily journeys.
However the App starts up on my phone every time I get in the car regardless, and then continues running even after I get out. It really drains my phone battery. I have to remember to close it manually. I can't find a way to stop this behaviour - it is a real pain.
I'm sure it wasn't always like this, but this means I have had to disable Waze on my CarPlay setup.

Tow Mode
I often tow a trailer for work, and use Waze to go everywhere - but often time saving routes will take me down side streets and laneways that are narrow and difficult to navigate with a trailer. Same would apply for touring with a caravan.
It would be awesome to have a mode that minimizes tight turns, side streets or intersections without traffic lights.

constant prompts
PLEASE do not overlay a user's entire screen with prompt to turn on "conversational reporting" every single time I open the app. 1. I already said no. Every single other time. And 2. This distracts users who are currently trying to drive, thereby increasing the risk of potentially fatal accidents. Your insistence that everyone use AI for everything is not a higher priority than human lives.

Give us centered landscape mode
I'd like for the vehicle icon to be in the center of the screen on landscape mode. Having it so far off to the side is infuriatingly dumb.

Hallo.
Omdat ik een sportmotor heb zit mijn telefoon nogal laag achter de topkuip.
Doordat ik met mijn helm hoor ik de waarschuwingen niet. En ik kan niet de hele tijd omlaag kijken en focussen op mijn telefoon.**** u een fuctie maken waarbij het beeld 2 of 3 keer flitst zodat dit beter opvalt. Dit valt beter op en kan ik optijd reageren als er een flitser of radarcontrole staat

Keep releasing updates to voices to keep them fresh. Change things up.
I like a specific voice and style. Please keep releasing new prompts to keep it fresh. Otherwise, the little comments that make up the character of the voice become boring and predictable.

Offer another option when there's heavy traffic on the freeway.
When on the freeway and there's heavy traffic, have Wave offer getting off the freeway and take side streets.
