Show search results on map
Waze search results are objectively inferior both in app and on android auto/carplay as compared to other popular navigation apps such as gmaps or apple maps.
Both of those apps display search results on a map view, with A, B, C etc pins with a selectable list on the side, and this works in app and on the in car head unit display. Google Maps also has a MUCH cleaner "add a stop" workflow.
This is a critical and basic feature gap that makes competing map applications much easier to use for searching18 votes -
Bring back searching on saved first
Bring back the feature that when you start typing a place on the search bar, the app would first try to find the place in your saved places. For example, I have my friend William's place saved as "William". If I start typing the letter W, the app would automatically bring as the first suggestion, "William". Now it doesn't and it slow me down a lot...

Agregar la opción de calle cerrada en android auto, ya que solo se puede poner en la app de teléfono.

Demande d'informations sur le réseau de bornes électriques NW IECharge dans Waze
Bonjour,
Je souhaite obtenir des informations concernant la disponibilité des bornes de recharge NW IECharge sur l'application Waze.
En configurant mon véhicule électrique dans l'application, j'ai remarqué qu'il est possible de sélectionner un réseau de bornes via le paramètre "Véhicule électrique". Cependant, je n'ai pas trouvé NW IECharge dans la liste des réseaux disponibles.
Pourriez-vous m'indiquer si vos bornes sont référencées sous une autre appellation ou si elles ne sont tout simplement pas encore intégrées dans la liste des réseaux de Waze ? Si elles ne le sont pas, envisagez-vous une démarche pour les référencer dans l'application ?

Big route previews showing all trip
When i select a route like Portugal - Switzerland the route preview doesn't show all route at once but i need to navigate to see. Can you add all route at once and then zoom with fingers?

Important ideas
I’ve been using Waze for several years now and do a lot of miles with it. There are a few things that could be added to make it even better. First, I would love to see Jeremy Clarkson as a Waze voice, that would be hilarious and highly popular. Second, I know that Uber drivers’ satnav can tell them when the traffic lights are about to change. Having this feature on Waze would be great as nothing else would have it. Third, I am also a delivery driver and am forced to use google maps for navigation as Waze does…

Audio Alert Speed Cameras
I use Waze in Cairo Egypt .. I it will be very helpful to make an audio alert for the speed camera before it by 500 Mt.

NO APLICATVO DA 99 TEM ESTA OPÇÃO QUE MOSTRA PARA O MOTORISTA QUANDO O APLICATIVO ABRE OU FECHA, SE JA TEM A OPÇÃO DE ROTAS PARA FUIGIR DO RODIZIO, POR QUE VCS NÃO COLOCA NO APLICATIVO ESTA OPÇÃO ESTOU CANSADO DE TOMAR MULTA POR FAROL VERMELHO. ACHO QUE ATÉ UM ESTAGIARIO DE TI DESENVOLVE ISSO.

Report manu for car owners
Okay so i belive all of us wants to help others keep their car as safe as possible, like for instance their headlight in not on at night, or they have a smoke from their car.
So like people will get assigned ownership for their car in waze, and people can look up their number plate and report in a quick menu for problems.2 votes -

Legend too small to read
Mostly brilliant but some things annoy such as the motorway or road sign next to turn off being so small it can't be read from drivers seat without binoculars. I can send in photo examples. Could you also make option not to take complex detour to not save 1 minute wait ... Fix that you'll get 5 stars

When Searching for "FUEL", add [Nearest] or [Along Route] selector/modifier.
Not only is this needed, but it also needs good UX to make what's happening clear.
In the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of situations, I want the CLOSEST gas station AHEAD (or on my current) route. It could be something as easy as a modal popup that says [BUTTON] in brackets:
[Shortest Distance] or [Nearest Ahead]
Where [Shortest] = "oh my .... I'm on fumes and need fuel NOW"
And
[Nearest Ahead] just does a quick check of your current route, a little balancing to find the shortest route with a 10-minute "lookahead" and presents the user with a list that INCLUDES:…

Me gustaría que se pudiera mostrar en la pantalla principal, como se hace con la hora y el tipo de conexión en el ángulo inferior derecho, la temperatura, la altitud y la dirección del viento. Y también los puntos de recarga para autos eléctricos en el trayecto establecido. Gracias.

Have a “favorites” section to store names with their addresses so we don’t have to look up the address every time. .
Have a “favorites” section where we can store names with their address to keep from having to add the address every time. I like using Waze even if I know where I’m going because my way may not be the fastest way that day.
