Automatically adjust the size of the text for turn instructions for longer text to fit more on the screen
Currently if there is text in the visual instructions or towards that is really long, Waze will end up cutting off important information that could be useful in Android Auto.
My suggestion is to make this text be automatically adjusted so more can fit on the screen but can still be readable with the naked eye.
I'm not sure what is exactly the best way to go about this but currently I find it not as user friendly as it could be considering us editors try our best to get all the information out there only for like a fair…

More bad weather descriptions
Instead of “bad weather reported ahead,” there should be options for co-pilots to select “high winds,” or blowing snow,” or “heavy rain,” or “hail,” or “sleet,” or “tornado,” etc

I’d like to propose a community-reported Safety Alert for situations where unusual or unclear activity near the roadway creates uncertainty and potential risk, even when the cause is not clearly visible or identifiable.
In these moments, uncertainty itself becomes a road safety issue, leading to panic braking, sudden U-turns, or drivers unknowingly entering unstable areas.
Examples include:
Sudden crowd activity blocking streets
Chaotic traffic behavior with no clear incident
Loud or alarming sounds affecting driver focus
Unstable situations where drivers begin stopping or turning around abruptly
In these cases, uncertainty itself becomes a road safety issue.

Alert regarding illegal waste disposal sites.

Replace unintuitive “not there” button symbol
When people are driving, symbols need to be instantly recognizable. For example, most of the report icons on the initial report display meet that requirement.
But when driving and you come across something like a partner feed alert and the app wants more info, the “not there” icon option is a stylized… purple and red, what?.. gloved?.. thumbs down hand that doesn’t intuitively convey “NO” and does not match the style theme of the other app icons. traffic lights and stop signs
I request this idea a lot but it seems like no one listens and Waze team completely ignores it. We need stop signs and traffic lights on the map. All navigations in the market already has it expect only Waze, I don't know why they don't want do it or difficult to them to do it! I can't understand, these things its really very important for the drivers.

Please add multiple stops
I was a waze user before but when I encountered with multiple stop problem. Waze can only allow one stop to be added and it is confusing. Please make is simplify where we can add multiple stops and check the map and distance at the same time . Also we can change order of the stops on convenience.

Road closures
To have the option to post road closures in either direction. For example if heading north bound and see a road closure southbound or if stationary to be able to post road closures, instead of only having option to post about road closures depending on what the gps says what direction it thinks I’m traveling

Multi-Stop Route Planning
Overview:
Waze currently allows users to set a single destination at a time, requiring them to manually input a new route after reaching their first stop. This can be time-consuming and inefficient, especially for users who need to make multiple stops in one trip.
Proposed Feature:
Enable users to set a route with multiple destinations in advance. Instead of navigating only from Point A to Point B, users will be able to plan a route such as:

button cancel route stopped working
After last update while running on Android Auto, button cancel route(in left bottom corner, button with cross and remaining time) stopped working, even though I see it is pressed - UI item changes the color when pressed. Button worked fine before with the same car and the same phone. It looks like it is pressed - there is visual feedback, but nothing happens.

Show route shields in the current road name bubble (bottom of screen) during navigation instead of plain text route numbers
Currently in Waze, the current road name displayed at the bottom of the screen during navigation only shows plain text (e.g. “M1 - Monash Fwy”) without the road shield symbol while route shields already appear in other parts of Waze (map and directions), but not in the current road bubble, creating inconsistency.
This suggestion is to display the route number as a proper shield symbol within the current road name bubble, instead of it being in plain text with a hyphen next to it. This will help reduce the clutter in the current street name and allows more room for…

Option to Delete Waze Chats
Right now with Waze Chats we only have the option to ( clear chat/ Block person or Mute ) so even after clearing the chat only the conversation disappears but the chat window stays always there, right now there is no option to delete Waze Chats from the Chat panel that have no reply or are not relevant anymore, as we mostly use this to reach out to new editors.

Could you add the mood of the editor in levels 4 and 6 in WME to the client Waze for different visiblity on live map because they are the best.

Carplay head up display directions
I have a Mazda CX 30 and i have noticed that only Apple Maps can deliver HUD directions, i use only Waze but this does not have this option, is this a Waze issue or Carplay refuses to deliver HUD directions from Waze?

Larger Speed and Speed Limit Option Please!
Please give the option to make the Speed Display and Speed Limit Boxes Larger. It is very hard to see due to small size. This would be very helpful in cars like mine that do not have a digital speed display.

Please give us the old Vanessa voice(french). The new voices are horrible. I can't use the app with the new voices. They are all horibble. Why would you destroy something great(the voices that were before)?

Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)
Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.

Report temporary traffic lights using MapMate should generate a roadworks hazard not a UR
In the UK, when we have roadworks with an incursion onto the carriageway, they are often accompanied by temporary multi-way traffic lights. This allows the road to remain open, while controlling traffic flow over a narrow than normal bit of open road.
Since the introduction of MapMate reporting, we have noticed an increase in MapMate URs coming in referring to the presence of temporary traffic lights. This should not generate a UR, and should generate a "roadworks" hazard report.
I have raised this on the Waze Discuss MapMate thread, but it has been suggested that this feature is not on…
