calculated average speed of average speed segment
There are some road segments which have average speed cameras. Almost always the human beings unable to calculate average speed, so instead they simply don't exceed the enforced speed, the max speed, not average. In case if there are obstructions, slow vehicles, turning vehicles in the average speed segment, the real average speed may fall significantly below what was requested by Road Code rules.

When my phone is in landscape mode the compass button is partially over the report button, and the "Where too?" Search bar is taking up most of the screen

Make it easier to report things
The number of menus you have to navigate through to report something as simple as a vehicle on the side of the road is too much. It is distracting and potentially dangerous, so please make it easier to report things, just one or two taps!

A Couple of ideas
I live in Maryland and would like to make a couple of suggestions. First, Maryland has a new law where you are supposed to pull over for any vehicles now, not just Police, Emergency and Tow trucks. Can you modify the program so it would display which side of the road the vehicle is on so I could possibly move over ahead of time. Secondly, can you add a simple button for vehicle on the left side of the road, on the right side and for a police car.. I don't like going through all of the buttons to post…

Feet to Yards please!
Please give us the option to select Yards (or metres) instead of Feet for distances in the UK. We have been brought up on using yards for distances under a mile (but we are able to use metres as they are similar). Feet as a measure is rarely used in the UK now.

Serait il possible d'avoir comme sur ma voiture quand je choisi un trajet et qu'il y a un péage " attention péage sur votre trajet, voulez vous le prendre oui ou non" plutôt que d'être obligé de devoir passer par les paramètres

Easier way to report an incident
I have an suggestion to make it easier and faster to report an incident.
On the map screen above "Where To?", have "report an incident", tap that and show all the options (traffic, accident, road hazard etc.). When passing something in the road, it's too difficult to find the proper screen to post it when you're still near it (especially on a highway or high traffic road).

when waze is just open with no route entered; display what street or highway your traveling on and upcoming cross street or exit this is useful for law enforcement , ems to see quickly get a bearing when responding to accidents.

HORRIBLE NEW ZOOM , its dangerous. I cant see my next tourn because it auto zooms out.
The new interface is really dangerous. I've loved ways for years and I want to stay a loyal customer but the fact that I have to look at my phone constantly and touch it and play with it just to see where my next turn is is, is dangerous. How you got too fancy. One day it's great and the next day it's dangerous to use your app?

Fix Overlapping, invisible Compass button
This is more of a bug report than a suggestion. When Waze is navigating and phone is in Landscape mode, the "Compass" button and the "Update the Map" button overlap with each other by about 80%, and the compass button is usually invisible. This leads to a frequent problem when driving of trying to his the "Update the Map" button but instead hitting the dang invisible Compass button, and suddenly changing the orientation of the map and making everything go haywire. These buttons should not be overlapping by 80% is doesn't make sense!

Subdue/Mute background sounds or not mute
Add the new check box in the voice settings area (to choose by the user)– Subdue/Mute background sounds (mutes background sounds while playing a message). It refers to the Android auto. If you turn off this parameter the background sounds (radio, spotify, vlc, etc.) shouldn’t be mute during the messages playing, what is a very desirable option in general. Something similar like in the case of Yanosik navigation program.
