  1. Auto-restart app and continue navigation to last entered destination when crashed or shutdown unexpectedly

    Hi,

    Sometimes the app crashes for some reason. I would like Waze to auto restart the app (use an iOS/Android command like Skype that checks if the application is still running, if not, then start application)

    The reason for the auto-restart is that I do not want to touch the device while driving. Especially when on a motorcycle.

  2. Add places you want or need to visit, when you are near.

    I am forgetful. It would be amazing to add places you should visit somtime. Like going to a special store or picking up something you bought. Or even jobs you need to do.

    You could set a nearby limit, like when in aprox 3km away you get a popup of this place, do you want to visit this place on your route today?

    You should be able to add vital information as phone numbers and links to items or places.

  3. enlarge buttons & keyboard, to make it user friendly for us left handed people & us girls with long nails.

    when you are left handed using your right hand on the touchscreen in the car, you are not as accurate & you slip. same happens with long nails. it's frustrating & doesn't support driving safely.

  4. Update to run on background on Sync 3

    The iPhone and Samsung devices recently released will show signs of burns when a picture is on for a long period of time. In this case since the screen has to be on in order for the car to run app its very bad for phone screen and can also make device get really hot and may start fire inside vehicle . I drive for hours at a time and i have noticed the heating problem. Please update app to run in the background with screen off.

  5. Ask before you grab a persons time.

    Before the app goes through all the set-up screens please ask the user if they just need directions right now and set-up later. They might be in a difficult situation and not have time for an app that keeps trying to build their profile. Your product us used in a dangerous environment and insistent / persistent distraction is stressful at the least and at worst potentially life threatening.

  6. Add warning about "Off-road/Not maintained" segments

    Following warnings can be used:
    * voice warning - on navigating to new POI, on entering "Off-road/Not maintained" segments
    * show such segments as bars with special color on roure chart similar to bars with traffic jams
    * highlight such segments with special color on map. With current implementation user is able to find such segments with map color scheme for editors. After navigating to POI it is covered with bold line of proposed route so colors are not visible

    Buenas tardes,
    Los contacto para ver si podemos trabajar juntos, para innovar( la aplicación de waze ) o crear una aplicación que este ligada a la central de policía para que el navegador de waze evite las zonas peligrosas por ejemplo las que fueron asaltadas recientemente, las zonas que tuvieron demanda por desaparición, etc.Y varias mejoras mas.

  10. Stop changing language when you cross the border

    I don't know if it's my phone or waze, but I'm taking a trip around Europe and every time I cross a border the voice commands change language. And it's not even the language of the country, I'm in Italy now and it switched to French. My native tongue is Dutch but I'm from Belgium so I speak a bit of French but it would still be nice just to keep the language I selected.

  13. Can we please have a way to flag roads as traffic calmed?

    Waze repeatedly tries to direct me onto roads that have traffic calming humps, which wears out my suspension & throws my tracking out. I'd like for there to be a way to flag up roads as traffic calmed in the map editor and for there to be an option "Avoid traffic calming". People with SUVs can carry on driving over the humps but folks like myself who like a stiffened, lowered suspension would be very thankful to avoid the almost off-road experience these measures create.

  18. Lane closure reports made easy

    I'd like a report button that would indicate lane closures.

    Could press to report the beginning of the lane closure, then press again to report the end.

    Then you indicate whether it's the left, right, or center lane.

  20. sign the target building after the arrival

    after the arrival when we get closer to the destination, the finish flag sign are disappear, then is hard to find the building that we went to reach,

    i thought that will help if the target building will get bold after the arrival
    or to show the building numbers on the map/
