Make the labelling of minutes and mile clearer
The bar at the bottom showed "43 min 40 mi.” - the “mi.” is very similar to “mins” and I often do a double take when looking at this. Use “miles” in full not “mi.” to make it clearer which is minutes and which is miles.

Ability for area managers to add road closures and long-lasting hazards in areas they manage
Instead of having to rely on the high level requirement in certain countries, area managers should be able to add road closures and long-lasting hazard notices on the map in the areas they manage. Currently we have to rely on Country Managers who are already busy and it creates unnecessary work for us having to create map multiple map views and copy paste links every few weeks when we could just do it ourselves. Especially during large constructions, like currently our city is constructing a tramway and roads all around the city are either completely closed or traffic flow is…

Less verbose mode (few short instructions)
I would like to have a "less verbose mode" where the voice navigation would just say a few short instructions, like "turn right" for example, without all the verbose stuff like street names; or "speed trap", without all the useless words around it.
The reason is that sometimes I like to listen to music, or audiobooks, or having a conversation while driving, and I find that Waze verbosity is very annoying.19 votesWe plan to work on th Brief instructions Option in the near future. Instead of saying, "Watch out! Vehicle on side of road, etc", how about say, "Be advised" in a calm voice.

Customize Roadside assistance and Emergency telephone number in app
Allow Wazers to customize the emergency number to call by pressing the emergency button.

The location for Austin Texas airport is incorrect. It was sending us to a residential neighborhood. Both phones using Waze were getting the same directions. The phones were Iphone 7 &8.

Show Junction ( intersection ) numbers on Reports ahead
After the Route is selected Waze can display "Reports Ahead" or they pop-up on your journey, Each report is given a distance, type and location. e.g 81.8 miles / Heavy Traffic / Flore.
Unfortunately I have no idea where "Flores" is. So it is difficult to relate to where in my journey this delay is.
What would be much better would be to use the Road and Junction numbers ( US: Intersection numbers).
The locations are often small towns i have never heard of.
E.g. If it showed " 81.8 miles / Heavy Traffic / M1 J14-J15 near Flore" that…2 votes -

The images of the constant nav aids are etching themselves onto the screen of my Samsung S8 so I can see them when other lighter coloured apps are on my ph...Doesn't look good...I use Waze daily...

Allow reports while invisible.
Not allowing reports while invisible, may cause customers to disappear. I use Waze even when I know where I'm going and have recommended it to more than I can count; however, report quantity/quality on police and accidents has gone down significantly since this change. Police do not need know who gave away their great hiding place.

Waze App constant down
Hi Waze,
fyi the mobile app on iphone has recently been very unstable.
We are always getting 'NO Connection'.

Improvements
Reduce the blue large size line a little bit (1/3). It will help the drivers to get the correct small street that is when the avenue ends and turns to 3 small entrances for example:right, left and straigth and they are very close to each other and the blue line hides the gray line. Even with information on top of app, in some moments the internet takes important seconds to update the information and due to this the driver takes the wrong way.
In big cities like São Paulo it will be helpfull during daily routine routes.
