  2. Reward helpful information in Update Requests

    When reviewing Update Requests in Waze Map Editor, it is very helpful and satisfying when the user making the report provides enough information that I can identify and fix a problem without asking for additional information. When this happens, as a reviewer of the Update Request, I would like to be able to reward the user for their helpful information. I envision this as some sort of check box when I mark the Update Request as Solved that would drop a road goodie for the reporter. This is just an idea for implementation and it could take a different form…

  6. Enlarge adress zone

    Purple zone for current position is too small between speedometer and POI button. Now my current position is always cut.Place speedometer and POI button higher so there will be an opportunity to make position zone wide as a screen.

  7. Botão "não estou nesta faixa"

    Frequentemente, ao trafegar por vias expressas onde há faixas locais paralelas, ocorre uma tendencia do gps posicionar o usuário ao longo da rota calculada, ao invés da real posição do GPS, por exemplo a rota é pela pista expressa e o usuário escolhe a pista local, o Waze não identifica a mudança, não fazendo um novo cálculo de rota, (como se não confiasse na precisão do GPS) isso é ruim para todos, pois além de não ajudar com uma nova rota, gera dados incorretos sobre a via para outros usuários.   8. Traffic Jam Elimination Assistance

    It seems that Waze could alert the "Wazers" on a road of a recommended speed to adapt that would help "clear" the jam if it is a phantom incident, and it is just a need to dissipate the "wave". See for instance:

  9. Enlarged Road names and numbers when the map is enlarged

    I do not understand why road names and numbers do not enlarge proportionally to the map. It makes no sense whatsoever. There is a reason I am enlarging the map and it is to read the information. Please allow road signs and names to enlarge u proportion to the map size.

  10. Calculating Meeting points

    It would be great that if Waze can help the customers to advise a meeting place for people who are trying to carpool.

    Basically, its taking 3 routes, if there are two participants are trying to get from their places to the same destination. .
    1. Person 1's route from place A to place B.
    2. Person 2's route from place C to place B.

    Then, Waze can calculate the most close meeting points fro Person 1 and Person 2 to meet and get to place B.

  11. bike and pedestrians ahead alert - Alerta de ciclistas e pedestres nas rodovias

    Portuguese - Seria muito útil criar um alerta de ciclistas e pedestres que estão transitando nos acostamentos das rodovias. Seria mais util ainda se o Wase pudesse acessar o banco de dados do Strava e automaticamente informasse que há "ciclistas a frente". Certamente os wazers alertariam da existência de ciclistas ou pedestres nas rodovias que representam perigo de atropelamento.

    Vocês têm uma tecnologia fantástica, não se justifica um uso cultural da língua traduzida tão desleixado.
    Quando anunciam, por exemplo "polícia REPORTADA à frente", isso é uma tradução grotesca do inglês "reported". Não se usa isso em português. Apesar de ser correto o termo, a fala no Brasil utilizaria "polícia RELATADA à frente".
    Outra tradução grotesca é "você chegou ao seu DESTINO". A palavra "destino" em português é diferente de "destination" em inglês, pois em português ela contém o significado de "fate" em inglês. Então cada vez que se escuta "você chegou ao seu destino" parece que sua vida termina…

  13. Report button visible on touch

    I've noticed the beginnings of screen burn-in on my 2 month old GS7. There is a ghostly action button in the bottom right of my screen visible. Could you please consider making the action button visible on touch, same as the map controls. This would greatly reduce the opportunity for this burn - in to occur.

  16. Informar um perigo independente de GPS

    Gostaria de sugerir que pudessemos informar um perigo qualquer no mapa apenas clicando no ponto desejado do mapa, sem necessidade de localizacao gps. Digo isso porque as vezes vejo um perigo enquanto estou em movimento mas ha uma certa demora em abrir o Waze e fazer conexao com o gps,sendo assim ao clicarmos em um ponto do mapa estariamos informando a regiao de perigo e alertando motoristas.

    les radars autonomes fleurissent sur nos routes, il y en a partout et il est actuellement impossible de les signaler sur waze !
    pouvez vous faire une modification ? ça serait génial.
    Il faudrait aussi un avertisseur sonore sur les zones de danger.

  18. Only report and show hazards / etc on your side of the road

    When viewing the map or receiving alerts, add an option to only report items on the side of the road you are driving and/or you are routed on. As a "reverse commuter" I constantly see hazards on my route but they are usually on the other side. It makes viewing the map for issues very difficult, almost unusable.

É melhor percorrer um caminho maior do que ser morto!

  20. Rutas inseguras

    Poder definir una ruta para que no pases por seguridad. Ej. Sabemos que tal Avenida es muy insegura y quiero configurar para que el Waze no pase por allá. o Definir una zona que el Waze siempre vá a alertar o desviar por completo el trayecto.
