CarPlay directions box option to hide?
Firstly might be useful to a CarPlay area in drop down box above?
As you can have directions listed on your iPhone whilst using CarPlay / you might know the basic route it would be great to be able to optionally hide the Directions box as it takes so much map real estate. Or maybe move to top left. It always seems top right is where I am going....

Concentrating on driving mode
Hi
I would like you to add an opening window which will ask me if I want to disconnect from texting apps while driving before I start driving with waze.
Lately we are witnessing too many car accdidents that happen because of texting while driving..
I would like to drive only with wasze working and having the opportunity to answer important phone calls with out texting.
I don't want to see the text messages popping in my phone while driving with waze

Support for merging the Waze User account
Hi,
It would be very helpful to have a support possibility to merge Waze accounts. In my case I use Waze for 10 months and after a crash I had to reinstall it. I forget my previous account name and I had no rmail address assigned to it. I only knew my mobile phone number that was used for sending me the activation key.
I would also pay for tuos support and tuis would be up to 10€ worth for me.

toll 99
Toll 99 in Houston, TX.... For some reason, Waze is no longer utilizing Toll Road 99 in Houston as an option for travel. The road shows on the map, but Waze acts like it is not there. This is resulting in my household not using Waze, which is our preferred navigation tool.

Here's an idea. How about now making Waze suddenly stop working to ask me about carpooling WHILE I'M FUCKING DRIVING IN AN UNKNOWN AREA!!!!!!! This stupid goddamn "survey" allowed me about 10 minutes of blind driving in an an unknown area. Do it again ... and you are deleted.

ask for the direction of the car before calculating the route
every driver had suffered from the common mistake WAZE makes while calculating a new route.
in a two way street WAZE doesn't always know to which way i'm facing, and the entire calculation is based on that direction (because let's face it - you're not so high on U-TURNS, unfortunately).
WHY WON'T YOU ALLOW THE DRIVER ANSWER (if needed) "to which way does your car face?"
it will improve time, calculation and driver's satisfaction!
PLEASE CONSIDER THAT SMALL YET HIGHLY HELPFUL FEATURE.

Setting the car’s direction when starting the app and navigation is a known matter which will be addressed in the future.
There are many complexities in location tracking which cause this issue and hold us from providing a solution.
It’s currently on the back burner, but definitely a part of the backlog. -
Fix your app
This app continually shuts down while driving cross country. I have UN-installed and will never use again. Fix your S*** or go out of business.

Historic Markers - Option to listen to the text of nearby markers
As a Waze user, I would like the ability to enable an option to display and/or listen to the text of nearby Historic Markers so that I can learn about historic places during my travels. Many times there is no place to pull over and read historic markers.

Block Certain Search Results
I don't like a certain McDonald's in my area because it is horrible, but everytime I search for McDonald's in my home area, that horrible location appears in the search results. I would like to have the ability to block individual search results. Thank you.

Report fixes
Make it so when you are looking at reports they will no longer disappear for some time. It is frustrating.

Show speed limit ahead (e.g. 300 meters ahead) for economic driving
In order to allow economic driving one should be informed that a changing speed limit will come up long enough to be able to save fuel and save the environment. When there is a hint that you have to lower speed like 300 meters in advance you can just stop pushing gas, so car will just sail.

Waze protect people on road
Hello my idea could safe people's life and make some extra profit for Waze.
Imagine you are cyclist, runner, wolker or group of cyclist with kids or etc.
You open Waze app choose ''protect mode'' option and select who you are. Then everyone who will driving on the same road will have an alert to slow down because you are ahead.I know that almost every new car has safety systems, but no one can see behind the corner.
Waze can sell and provide these live data to other companies like Volvo, Mercedes, Audi, BMW and they can implement them…

Accident Tracking - High Risk Areas
Use reports by fellow Wazers to track and show areas on the map where multiple accidents have been reported so as to indicate them as "high risk areas" where drivers should be extra cautious. There are a variety of reasons that accidents and wrecks occur but after tracking them for some time, trends could easily be seen and indicated on any device.

Bring back other calendars than google calendars (ex. outlook calendar) to synchronize with in "planned routes"
"Planned routes" is a great feature to plan my routes, but lately it is only possible to synchronize with google calendars. Please bring back the feature to synchronize with other calendars, like outlook calendar, as well, so I do not have to manually import my meetings in Waze.

traffic patterns
hi , i have a suggestion for your app that will make our work easier for people in iran and city tehran , there is always two kind of traffic pattern in tehran one is called traffic pattern and other one is even and odd pattern. u can learn about it in wikipedia or google and u can get it pattern map from google by searching . if it is possible please add this pattern or just and alert to your app .

Waze Icons "float"
When you do a lot of driving with Waze open, the icons end up "burning" into the screen because there is no movement. Waze should have the icons "float" a bit to prevent this from happening.
