Reoccuring online check
Waze appears to check for an internet connection only when the app first starts. If no connection is available at that point, it switches to an offline-maps-only mode. However, it does not seem to check again for connectivity while the app remains open.
For example, my car’s Wi‑Fi can take a few minutes to start after the ignition is turned on. If I open Waze before the Wi‑Fi is connected, the app stays offline even once the connection becomes available. Through WME, editors manually added a pin at the corresponding kilometer marker on a highway. Clicking on this pin would provide the following fields to fill in: Highway, Kilometer, Direction. Up to two highways could be added to each pin, with the "Direction" field being optional and the other two mandatory.

I drive using the Uber app in my cell phone. Uber is great at giving instructions but WAZE takes over control of Uber stop this
WAZE takes over the Uber app in my cell phone when I am driving some one to their destination. WAZE directions are good but they do not work well when they over take the Uber app. Can YOU at WAZE reprogram WAZE to NOT take over the Uber application?? Or any other application because that would be a GREAT improvement in the programming of WAZE.

Outlines for “area” place types (App/Livemap)
Currently, polygons representing “area” place types in the app and in Livemap are rendered in an overly simplified way, using a uniform fill with no visible outlines. This design choice reduces visual clarity when distinguishing between adjacent areas. In cases where one area is located inside another, the label of the inner area appears to “float” over the outer one, with no clear indication of its limits.

A ‘Whimsy’ option when on adventures and road trips
Fairy twinkle style music comes on an a Whimsy route pops up. It could be a tourist attraction, natural beauty or even user suggested options like ‘rock that looks like a turtle’ or ‘drive down this road for an amazing view’
Users can select to take or not and users can add in as they find. Include if special car requirements are needed maybe - std, 4WD etc

Time based alert of when entering and exiting an active school zone, active at all times even when not navigating, with a speed reduction reflective on the active speed limit sign

Option to use standard Arrow icon in Motorcycle mode
I prefer riding with Motorcycle mode enabled, but I don't like the red motorcycle icon. Please allow us to use the default Navigation Arrow icon while keeping the motorcycle routing profile active, as it is easier to see on the screen.

Group drive function
It would be great to have the ability to add users to your group, then when driving anywhere you add them to your route. When the lead driver makes changes it updates for all in the group. Potentially others in the group track the lead driver, or the destination that is controlled by the lead driver.

Funcion para evitar calles en mal estado
Sugiero agregar una funcion para evitar rutas en mal estado. Ej: calles peligrosas, baches, calles de tierra. No siempre queremos solo la ruta mas rapida, si no una que sea segura. En Argentina es muy comun encontrar calles en mal estado, por lo que deteriora y rompe el vehículo

Info Box and button placement: bottom / top / left / right
Currently, all info and buttons show up at the bottom of the screen.
But I placed the iPhone in the car, where I cannot see this bottom area. It would be nice if there were an option to place this info and the buttons on other parts of the screen where they are more visible (and reachable) for me.

Add private with trailer. Some routes are not suitable when towing a trailer, either tight turns or height restrictions.

Display shield AND road name in the app
Please consider displaying one or more shields along with a road name in the app. Ideally, we could have the option to display more than one shield, but at least one would be very helpful. Other nav apps already do this today.
Currently, we can either display a single shield on a road OR the primary road name. Many roads are known by a common name but also have one or more shields that can be very important for navigation. Multi Waypoint Route Planning
Provide multi waypoint route planning, allowing shaping points for tailoring routes, and a library to store routes.
This could be achieved online via Google Maps and synch to Waze app, perhaps under a Subscription model.
