  1. suggest removing hazard on side of road as this has no impact on traffic but people slow down because this is reported

    hazards on road is good to report but if it is to the side of road, I see not point in this helping and in fact people will slow down for any hazard so this actually slows down traffic

  3. Support event driven notitfications to zapier or ifttt

    It would be nice Waze could attach to other systems with events via for example zapier and/or ifttt. Events that I think of:

    Starts navigation to 'lat/lon' (bookmarkname)
    Arrives at destination
    Is in traffic
    Shares route
    Is 1 hours, half hour, 15 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes away from its destination

    Logs drive (from/to, starttime/endtime, distance traveled, (compressed) gpx attached.

    This way everybody could easily make rules like

    log {all} journeys to a google spreadsheet.

    Or share my drive easily on facebook, twitter, etc.

    Or, when I go {home} between {16:00} and {19:00} share that drive with {spouse}.

  4. Plot recently driven roads

    It would be great to have an option to mark roads recently driven by other wazers. This would increase the confidence that it's clear from traps, traffic jams etc.

  5. Modify Spoken Road

    On some roads the application announces "N" or "S" or "E" or "W" instead of North, South, East and West. As an example: "Take NJ Turnpike N Cars Only towards ...."

  7. Allow a longer delay before voice prompts

    When using my iPhone with bluetooth handsfree kit, I miss the first word of each prompt while the kit detects bluetooth audio and mutes my radio in the car. Please increase delay between starting the announcement (or add a selectable option to do so) to overcome this problem.

  8. Add option to resize the screen allowing to see all members of a team in special color 4 better view

    This option will allow a member of a team to see in a much more easy way, where are the other members of his team.
    Another side of this option, could be a live interface on web,... where a member could see the others members of a team.

  9. Group Search area should be user defined.

    We try to communicate as group about travel in a remote country in Africa. The Group is created in local country. People traveling to and in the remote country can not join the group or participate.

  10. Move (Install) to SD Card (Android)

    I would like to be able to move waze to my SD card. I have 2.2, but my phone does not have enough internal storage for all my apps. It would be awesome if I could move this to my SD since it is one of the larger apps.

  11. resort adress

    Would be useful to have a third 'steady' favorite in addition to Home and Work that could be RESORT. So that when on holiday or congress somewhere , and once the adress of let's say the hotel is set in this particular favorite, Waze would suggest you to go back to this adress automatically instead of Home or Work. This automatic proposition everytime you resume to Waze would end once you choose Home or Work as new destination.

    Sure some will be wrong, but current reports are so old they are useless.

  17. Volyme/sound reset

    It's kind of annoying that the Alerts/sound levels reset after each upgrade/new version.

    Please make my settings remain.

  18. Waze seems to have great difficulty re-routing the driver if he makes a wrong turn. Apple Maps is much better in this respect.

    If I miss a turn, Waze is so slow to reroute my trip that I have to quit Waze app, jump over to Apple Maps & Siri, get back on track, then telaunch Waze

  19. i missed out reporting some very dangerous road conditions because I had too many posts! There should be no limit to how much you can help!

    There should be no limit on number of reports. I drove from Orlando to Kansas City & couldn't report some very dangerous road conditions because I had "too many posts in a short period of time."

  20. Distance by blocks or exits

    Instead of by feet, notify turn distance by number of blocks or exits. This makes more sense to a human driver.
