Fastest route regardless of toll fees
Currently Fastest Route takes toll amount and distance into consideration. Many times, better routes with much higher tolls + a longer highway detour is in fact faster.
While there is an option to opt out of tolls, there is no way to have the "Fastest" route regardless.
Fastest should mean really the fastest and not "according to what Waze thinks people might want".

On screen disable of route, once underway.
I exit freeway because of traffic. Now WAZE wants me to turn left, turn right, U-turn at every opportunity to get me back on the freeway route. I would like to instruct WAZE to reroute me with option to avoid previous routing. I know if I go far enough off initial route this will happen automatically. But that's not helpful when I'm on unfamiliar streets.

End route at end of closed segments
When the destination would end on a segment that is currently closed the route ends on the next closest segment (that isn't closed) which in many cases is a road in the back of the property where there's no access to the destination.
Consider ending the route at the last node that is not closed on the route - at the node the closure ends/starts.

Can you please add lighted intersections like google maps?
Put a traffic light icon at intersections with them like google maps. I don't like google maps but do like, and find, that feature is very helpful

New hazard option
Under "hazards", please add "men working" or "people on shoulder" or something of the sort, it might not always be construction so it does not fall under that category, but sometimes it may be a survey crew, garbage clean up, or landscapers on the side of the road etc. that deserve the same safety that we give the construction workers.

Traffic Jam Standstill Should be much slower
Waze needs to read the speed of Wazers in a Standstill Traffic Jam better. In the last couple of months, I have not been re-routed around terrible standstill traffic jams because Waze thinks the "Standstill" is moving at 15 mph when, in reality, you're literally idling and moving a few feet every couple of minutes. I see where the app tracks Wazers, so why can't it use their average speed, which was closer to 3 mph? In the last few months, I have been caught in very long traffic jams because Waze thinks the route your on is faster than…

Better organized CarPlay screen for reporting traffic issues
Describing traffic issues while driving needs to be done quickly, so the driver isn’t distracted too long. I feel at least 20 buttons should be shown on the screen right away to report conditions, instead of 5 that ‘open’ into related scenarios. So 1st column is the 5 most important police issues, the 2nd column is the 5 most important emergency vehicle issues, the 3rd column is the 5 most important crash or stopped vehicle issues, the 4th column is the 5 most important road surface condition issues, and the 5th column is the 5 most important ‘other’ issues.

Highway patrol is utilizing artificial intelligence cameras. Drivers need to be warned about a quarter mile in advance We need to be able to tag these cameras on Waze2 votes -

Changes to speed and red light camera
Announce speed limit when showing speed camera like " Speed trap ahead limit 80km/hr " and add beeping sound when it is near for both the cameras

Waze needs to automatically shut down after leaving vehie
Waze stays open, running and consuming large amounts of data and battery once i have arrived at my destination and left my vehicle. It’s still running when I am walking. I need to manually remember it’s running and shut it down.

Time to Leave Reminder to include time for parking
Would very great if we could add the option to configure reaching earlier (say 15 mins) before our calendar event to account for parking time? That would mean the time to leave reminder would account for the parking time and tell us to leave even earlier.
It would make more sense if we didn't reach our destination at the time the event starts cos we wouldn't have enough time to park and walk to the event! Thanks!
