  1. Improve the way that traffic reporting works in cities

    Avid Urban waze users like myself often find that our traffic reports will only cover a tiny segment of road, often only 100 or 200 ft. It seems this behavior has something to do with the way that the roads are segmented. There have been many times that I will be in traffic on an urban road in Chicago, report the traffic to help the community, and see that my report barely extends in front of and behind the icon of my vehicle. I'll either spam traffic reports every couple hundred feet while I'm in traffic to cover more length…

  2. Add restaurants or POI that you're interested in

    I would really like to be able to flag points of Interests or Restaurants I want to go to in Waze. When I am near, or I put in a route that is near those flagged POI's or Restaurants Waze can notify me that said destination is along the route and may be x minutes out of the way.

  3. Avoid certain kind of roads. For example, I would like to avoid roads which name starts with T, or name of road has symbols 'T1'.

    I would like to suggest some kind of filter: avoid roads which name starts with 'T', or name of road has symbols 'T1'. In most countries kind of road is 'encoded' in its name. Let's use that name for better navigation adjustments!

  4. Carpool/HOV lane detection

    Give us the option to comletely disable Carpool/HOV lane detection.

    For two years now the app keeps telling me to leave the carpool lane every 1 to 2 miles, even when I am not in the carpool lane. Please give us an option to completely disable the lane detection so I can enter or exit it whenever I want to.

  6. Jauge carburant pour véhicule et consommation en fin de voyage

    Bonjour,

    Suite à un constat, je souhaiterai vous faire part d'une option qui pourrait plaire à de nombreux usagers.
    En effet, sur mon véhicule (moto), il n'y a pas de jauge d'essence.
    Sachant que vous permettez de remplir aux stations le prix de l'essence / gazoil,

    Serait-il possible de rajouter une jauge d'essence et/ou bien d'avoir une estimation à chaque fin de trajet, d'essence consommée du départ au point d'arrivée ?
    L'estimation prendrait en compte les informations suivantes :

    • Temps de trajet réel et théorique (temps effectué du point de départ à l'arrivée),
    • La consommation moyenne du véhicule au 100…

  8. Allow music apps to be imported from your own device

    People have different Apps for music like I use YouTube music, apple music and amazon music and sometimes Heart Radio. However I cannot use Apple music and Heart Radio on Waze only amazon, youtube music etc it be awesome if there could be music apps imported or integrated by people's phones as many countries use different apps and it helps people when driving.

  10. Saved places on web interface or import

    It would be great to have a way to add/edit saved places from the web interface or to have some form of importing them.
    In case you have to add/edit more places, it’s easier with an actual keyboard and a big screen instead of the phone screen.

  12. Unchecking “Receive All Push Notifications” should deselect all options so u can manually select, it shouldn’t deactivate push notifications

    EASY FIX: when you go to settings > notifications and turn off “receive all push notifications,” it literally turns off push notifications. It should just unselect all of them so we can choose the ones we want.

  14. Waze has been a wonderful Sat Nav. My suggestion is, can it be designed or produce it to be independent of phone.That is to have it Tomtom

  15. Media Control

    It would be nice to have the option to have some form of media controls always showing because it is irritating having to press to open the controls and then the action you want. A small but impactful change. Otherwise love the app best in its class

    Neste caso o encaminhamento não deveria abandonar, por exemplo, uma EN para atalhar por uma secundária, voltando à principal mais à frente. Isto porque encurtou umas centenas de metros...

    Com base no estado e/tipo de piso.
    -ROTA PAISAGISTA/TURÍSTICA
    Encaminhamento no sentido das paisagens ou circuitos turísticos.

  18. Move all traffic alerts 1-2 miles earlier

    I would dearly love to hear there's traffic ahead a mile or two sooner, please.

    I've never had a traffic alert sound before I am in the tailback, and it is too late to reroute, or accept fate!

    Big fan of Waze, thank you.

  19. Display time to leave in plan a drive

    Dynamic time to leave and length of travel is more important than just seeing the arrival time on a planned drive. Travel times vary so these information are vital.

  20. Add "unlimited speed limit" sign for Germany

    In Germany, 70% of the highways have to actual speed limit. This is currently idicated by no speed limit sign at all. However, this might also mean that the speed limit is unknown.
    Instead, the "unlimited" speed sign could be used that is used in Germany to indicate that no speed limit applies anymore (link to an image: https://www.bussgeldkatalog.org/wp-content/uploads/282.png) This is sign 282.

    This could be easily accomplished by either adding a checkbox to the editor to set that no speed limit applies, but this might requite some engineering.
    An easier solution would be to only update the app…
