Danger Zone
Cameras are placed in known danger zones.
Usually the danger is within 100m either side of the camera.
Sometimes it is not allowed to plot cameras.
But a general warning - danger zone in 200m - would be useful.2 votes -
Ignore Traffic Option for Real Time Road Closures
For Real Time Road Closures, please add the option to "Ignore segment traffic". Currently if there is any traffic detected on a Closed segment, the Closure will be put into Suspend mode. This can be problematic since some Waze users choose to ignore a closure, because they can't "see" any backed up traffic due to the closure, and will cause the closure to be paused until enough traffic has been stopped behind the closure and the segment detects no more movement. By then the closure should have been in place warning Waze users well ahead of time to find an…

Xavier Legette
Have you heard this man’s draawwwwllllll? The way his words melt like way-more-butter-than-this-recipe-needs-but-that’s-ok-cause-we-in-tha-south-baby, or the way one syllable words are somehow stretched to four syllables like how your grammy stretches that bread dough so, so perfectly but three syllable words are somehow condensed to half a syllable like when your laundry basket is overflowing and you’re just trying to fit those last few things in there so you can go do the wash—I mean the warsh? Enter Xavier Legette, this NFL rookie class’ most endearing personality and most likable voice. We already know he washes his face with Cetaphil; we…

Keep things the same
Keep the interface the same changing the user interface should not change the only thing that should change is the map updating not the interface if someone wants to see a quick overview the button should already be visible and easy to tap on most likely the person using the app is the driver having to stair at their phone and find buttons or click more than one button just to see the route as a whole quickly instead if of having to search and look for things you should also put up a notification pop up when you first…

Can you please place Stoplight icons at all intersections including it along any 4 lane routes.
We don’t see stoplight icons on our maps like google and maps offer. They really help us know how many stoplights are ahead before having to make a turn. Also if the speed limit sign could stay on in upper RH corner the whole time that would be helpful while traveling through other states. Thank you! We are new to the app and love it otherwise.

Integration of Probationary Driver-Specific Speed Limits and Safer Routes for New Drivers on Waze (France)
Idea: Add a “New Driver” option to Waze, specifically adapted to France’s probationary license rules, which would automatically adjust the app’s features to meet the unique speed restrictions and needs of new drivers in France.
Adjusted Speed Limits and Probationary Driver Profile: When a user registers as a probationary driver under France’s licensing rules, Waze could display adapted speed limits (e.g., 80 km/h instead of 90 km/h on standard roads, 100 km/h instead of 110 km/h on expressways). This would provide a constant visual reminder of the specific speed restrictions for new drivers, helping them avoid unintentional speeding. Once the…

Annoying pop upps
I've been using Waze for a while now, but find the road name flags obscure junctions (when the phone is horizontally held). Wen you turning around in towns, one goes wrong. Is there a way to turn them off?
I' forced to hold the phone on my right led, when driving. I can't put it in my holder horizontally. Very annoying and in towns I instead use Google Maps app. I would've loved to use Waze. But it's not possible.

Voice after long time only
Basically i don't use voice because it volumes down the music and annoying anyway. BUT crusing on the higway for hours you don't check the navigation visually, so there is a chance you miss the exit. A new function would be usefull that active voice only after a certain time (1,2, etc. hours) between to far points and mutes down when you have to check the routes frequenlty.
