satellite roads
I do understand the possible changes behind the scenes of the app but i honestly believe satellite roads is safer and more efficient for drivers as it provides a clearer view of the roads being driven on and not confusing drivers as it is confusing with cartoonish roads that nearly blend in together making it hard to understand which roads to take especially on highways. I have personally experienced not only myself but also seen other users of Waze experience missing exits and nearly and actually getting on to wrong exits because of the confusing “cartoonish” Waze maps. Nome rua em que estamos
Mostrar a todo momento no rodapé o nome da rua em que o veículo está. Isso ajudaria bastante o motorista a se situar e evitar equívocos. Além do mais aplicativos similares já possuem esse recurso.

SPLIT: I don’t like that others can see my speed
I don’t like that others can see my speed if I use that part of the app so I can watch my speed. Can authorities access that info ever??? Because I do speed sometimes and I don’t want others seeing or recording my speed...

Zone de danger
Bonjour. En france la législation nous interdit de voir la position fixe d'un radar automatique mais elle autorise d'afficher des " zones de danger " . Malheureusement waze n'affiche pas ces zones comme l'application tomtom et l'application coyote. Il faut absolument que waze ajoute ces " zones de danger " !!

Directions only audio
Currently there are options for audio to have alerts only or alerts and directions. It would be helpful to also have an option for directions only.

le choix d'un itinéraire n'est pas ergonomique. le calcul de l'heure de départ pourrait être lié à des temps d'étapes

Accessibility Feedback – Request for Earlier, More Detailed Voice Directions for ADHD Drivers
Many of us rely almost entirely on audio guidance instead of the visual map, because watching the screen or tracking small map details while driving can be overwhelming or distracting. However, the current voice directions often announce turns or exits too close to the actual point of action, which makes it stressful to react safely — especially in unfamiliar areas or during highway driving.
It would be a huge help if Waze offered an “Accessibility Voice Mode” or “Extended Voice Guidance” that:
Announces upcoming exits, turns, and merges earlier (e.g., “In one mile, take Exit 12 toward Croton-on-Hudson”)

Speed cameras / radars notifications on iOS CarPlay only over speed limit.
Hi there,
I live in Dubai, where you can go up to 20km/h over the speed limit before the speed camera / radar actually jumps. There is a speed camera / radar each kilometer, so the amount of alerts you get on the CarPlay display is HUGE.
Also, I saw that you can configure Waze to inform about the speed limit on different speeds and level, like "+5km/h" or similar.
I would like to suggest the same regarding the speed camera / radar alerts, as I want to get informed but only when / if I go over a certain…

Motorcycle Icon
It would be great if users could choose between the arrow icon and the motorcycle icon when using motorcycle mode. Personally, I prefer the arrow — it looks cleaner and easier to see on the map.

Verbal “Animal Alert” & Animal Icon replaced in app
Requesting update to app: 50 mile commute to & from work. High potential for animal / wildlife encounters & add a loss of connection for approx 5 miles during the trip. Would like an “Animal” icon to be placed back into the app & a verbal “Animal Alert” be announced the same way that construction, crashes, hazards & police, do so now. Medidas vehículos
Sería muy interesante que se pudiera introducir las medidas del vehículo para si se va, por ejemplo en autocaravana, que evite rutas por donde no se quepa, ya sea por tamaño y/o peso

Reportar y/o responder a incidencias en manos libres
Creo que sería adecuado que, diciendo una palabra clave (como por ejemplo en Google, hi google) se activara el sistema para poder introducir las incidencias en carretera, o afirmar o negar si sigue la incidencia reportada, por parte del conductor. Tipo manos libres. Así se puede participar mientras va una persona sola en el vehículo
