iOS App: fewer taps to report incidents?
Feature request: Please allow custom shortcuts for reporting common items like "Car on Shoulder" or "Police" or "Crash". Maybe users can select which ones to have directly on the map display screen.
Right now, it takes 4 taps on the screen to report "Car on shoulder".

ReportThat is too many. I would put an icon for this this directly on the map screen. This is the most common interaction I have with Waze while driving.

The “Leave at a later time” feature DOES NOT WORK
The “Leave at a later time” feature DOES NOT WORK. It DOES NOT save the destination, and DOES NOT alert me when it’s time to go. I don’t recall whether it ever did, but certainly never my iPhone 12 with iOS 16.x.x or (now) 17.1.1. Wish it did—it would be very convenient

En Buenos Aires y alrededores, hay gasolineras que publican precios falsos de sus combustibles para atraer clientela. Incluso llegué a notar estaciones cercanas a otras, a las que les suman números para que parezca ridículamente caro y no vayan. Hay que poder denunciar cuando un precio publicado es malicioso.

Es necesario una actualización para poder reportar cuando hay un retén de policías o de tránsito para poder diferenciarlos. Y actualizar el lugar de las foto multas y rutas alternas.

Put the correct Passport Canada address on your website - it is 1783 Hamilton Street in Regina not 1870 Albert Street. People come to 1870 Albert Street only to be told it is 1783 Hamilton Street. This is frustrating for them and frustrating for the tenants at 1870 Albert Street who have to deal with several people a day looking for Passport Canada at 1870 Albert Street

Alertas de Lombada.
No Brasil é muito comum a instalação de lombadas nas vis e isso pode causar acidentes. Seria tão fácil ter esse alerta no aplicativo. Recentemente tive um prejuízo de R$7 mil por conta de uma lombada sem sinalização. Seria algo como buraco na via, só que específico para lombadas.

Road hazard alert authorities
Extreme weather conditions cause thousands of multi car accidents each year.resulting in increase in auto insurance. Add ability to not only report weather hazardous conditions, after a certain number are reported within a specificity area, notify appropriate authorities to close roads. Adding the ability to a view real time weather on waze is much needed so we don’t have to switch apps.

Podrías añadir carpetas en dónde están los lugares guardados
De esa manera cuando estás organizando un viaje podrías meter los lugares de ese viaje y no estaría mezclado con todos los demás que lugares que tienes guardados que es un poco lioso

Coloring on exit numbers
When certain exits come up on navigation, they have a light orange color background that makes them really difficult to see. Can you please change the background color to something that will make the exit number more visible (like purple?) thanks!

Novamente, após a última atualização o aplicativo ficou horrível, praticamente inutilizado. Fica exibindo mensagem que um erro ocorreu, perde a conexão direto, não atualiza as informações da rota, como engarrafamento por exemplo, e o pior fica "desligando" o aplicativo a cada 2 min., obrigando o motorista a iniciar a navegação novamente enquanto dirige. Faz duas semanas que não consigo utilizar o aplicativo. Fui obrigado a passar a utilizar O Google Maps, que em se mostrado infinitamente superior ao Waze.

Safest route i.t.o. crime
In countries like South Africa there are certain high crime areas that should be avoided. If you read the news there are frequent reports of tourists especially, taking a short route unknowingly through a dangerous area and becoming a victim of crime or worse being murdered (sadly this is true). It would be great if one could select a "safest route" option which may not necessarily be the quickest. PLEASE.

Earn points to limit ads
Earn points to limit ads. The more reports you post, the more points you get, and the less ads you see.
For the users who maintain a steady stream of points, turn off ads altogether. The reports must be confirmed by other users to avoid gaming the system by submitting incorrect (fake) reports.
Note that Stack Overflow, a very popular Q&A site for programmers, uses such system. After a certain number of points, there are no ads at all.1 vote
