Voice commands to navigate to saved places not working
I have some saved places, like "parent's house" for example. To try to navigate to it I will press the microphone button and say "parent's house" or "navigate to parent's house", but it will set my route to a destination completely different hundreds of miles away. This only happens while connected to android auto. It works fine if I'm only using the Waze android app. Any ideas on how to fix this? Am I the only person with the issue? This is a main basic functionality and I can't use Waze without it.

Under "Where to?", show all "Saved places" at once instead of having to scroll horizontally.
I don't like horizontally scrolling to the right to get to all my saved places. It looks sloppy and feels weird especially when there is a vertical list of places below it. It is slower to find your places too. I would like it if these saved places buttons/shortcuts (home, work, others and more) were all shown at once without having to scroll horizontally. The buttons/shortcuts that don't fit all on one line would simply be moved under the first line. Then you have 2 or 3 lines or these buttons/shortcuts instead of having to scroll horizontally to look for…

Restarting Waze while connected to android auto causes light or dark mode to be wrong
If I close and reopen Waze while it is connected to android auto, Waze will open in whichever light or dark mode that my phone is set to. I have my phone set on dark mode so this causes Waze to open in dark mode if I restart it while connected to android auto. However I want it to always open in the mode that matches my car's headlights. When I first start Waze with android auto it does match my car's headlights, but not when I restart it. Is there any way to change this behavior or maybe someone…

Waze already detects traffic speed in real time. Please add an optional voice warning such as:
"Heavy traffic ahead. Reduce your speed."
Trigger the alert when the average speed drops abruptly (for example, from 100 km/h to below 30 km/h within a short distance).
This would improve safety on highways by giving drivers more time to brake smoothly and reducing rear-end collisions. The feature should be optional in Settings.

Removal of speed camera warnings
Speed camera warnings are also used by drivers that normally exceed speed limits, which warnings provide a tool to comfortably exceed speed limits, unsafe driving. Therefore speed camera warnings can be seen as intrinsic unsafe.

CLEAN UP THE MAIN SCREEN
This is a Complaint, not an "idea." You HAD a perfectly good method of choosing your displayed Vehicle type in Preferences. ONCE and ONLY ONCE.
Whose "brilliant" idea was it to load down the main screen by adding a "Car or Motorcycle" choice EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU CHOOSE A ROUTE?
Is this some pathetic attempt at "Social Engineering" by "suggesting" that we should all ride two-wheelers because they are more fuel-efficient?

CarPlay (iOS) with dynamic screen size causes map to be cropped
I have a Ford F150 2025 and it has a big screen with an option to shrink or enlarge the CarPlay display area.
Even if I leave it large, the app gets a resize event and looks like there may be a race condition handling this event as the map is cropped.
If I go to some other app (ie Music) then back, the problem is solved.
Some of the icons (route, alerts, search) are correctly displayed using the full area. But the map and the speed are bound to the initial/smaller area unless I change the app or I…

I use Waze
I would like a start up menu . So when you use Waze you have the option of using car , motorbike , cycle or walking . Would be really helpful as i use all of those things .
