Enhancement request: Fresh or Stale route
t would be great if there was a way to know how fresh or stale the data is on your route relative to number of Waze users who have driven it.
Sometimes you wonder if there is another waze user even on the route you are driving, so you know reports would be non-existent.
Maybe an indicator to show:
Red: no users driven this road in last XX minutes.
Yellow: XX users drove this road in last XX minutes
Green: Waze users taking over the earth by using this route!I realize it would another layer of complexity to your…

Enhancement Request: Change in way to acknowledge "Still there" "Not there" on app
Using Carplay, the message pops up with header followed by your 2 choices.
If you could make it so the message is in the middle, choice 1 on top, and choice 2 on bottom, it would be alot easier to correctly select your choice while driving on a touch screen display.
I love the app, and figured I'd submit this to try to make it even better!

Hello, what happened to the carpool option. Back in the day, I gave a ride to a few folks and was able to save us both $, plus helps with the environment...

You need a one button to submit hazards.
It now it takes four touches to report a car on the side of the road. It should be simpler.

Setting for driver seat location and map display / layout
In Navigation mode, depending on which side (Left/Right) the driver seat location is, display the driving Directions on the corresponding side of the screen.
Note: also, using Android Auto Right seat location setting has no effect on Waze's display, the navi turn information
card remaining on the left side.

Search A Song option on main screen
I listen to a lot of music while I drive - it would be great if it was easy to hit one button on main Waze screen to run a Google ‘Search A Song’ query and a playlist created somewhere

have a date and time for last person update. This would help with fuel prices being accurate
Hi. The last person update on the Waze app should have a date and time or when it was last updated. Sometimes I feel the cash station workers manipulating the app to show cheaper prices only to turn up and it’s never ever. The case. I’ve witnesses certain branches do this and I go by the gas station everyday and always update it and alway seeems to be the same person. Made a report on google on the very station and had thousand of comments saying something similar. So instea of simply having the the name of the last person…

Camera
In Holland a “traject controle” is a measurement of average speed between two or more cameras. You use it as warning for camera in next few km. That would be a “ controle traject “.

Your new app is BAD. THE “plan a drive” is buried, there still isn’t an easy way to add a stop. I’ve quit using Waze as my regular map.
Make the app ACCURATE, and easy to use, plan a drive, change starting location, correct lanes to be in.- NO, I can’t “ stay in the HOV lane” , and exit the freeway at the same time!
I can’t be in the leftmost turn lane, and exit right to the freeway!
I’d like it to be easy to use-change start location, add a stop, maybe even help me route a drive- which stop in which order ( start and stop location, with 2-3 stops on the way)1 vote -
I’m using Waze on apple car play and it doesn’t seem like the miles that I am driving is added to the points. I drove to lake of the ozarks
I have a Honda CR-V and an apple iphone 14.

Driver needs earlier notification of a turn before the turn.
Sometimes on a route using Waze it does not notify driver of turn until you're up on it. Sometimes there is no reaction time for driver. Driver should be notified several times on approach to a turn.

Change “Work” label
You have the option of setting Home & Work locations. However, many of us work from home and could use the Work option for a second significant location (school, partner house, etc). Obviously we can still use this feature, but it’d be nice to be able to adjust the label accordingly so it reflect accurately!

Plan a drive feature doesn’t save
The “plan a drive” feature doesn’t ever save on my phone. Like it will save but if I close the app, it forgets about the drive. Even if I keep the app open in the background but don’t go in the app for a few hours it deletes all my planned drives. So for all intents and purposes the feature doesn’t work. I would love to use it if that can be fixed in the future.

Move street name tags away from the route and the next maneuver arrow
Please display street name tags a bit away from the next maneuver arrow making sure that the arrow itself as well as some nearby streets are clearly visible. In a dense old cities the only way to understand which turn you should take is to compare the map with what you actually see. Don't forget about some GPS lag.

Current location display. A floating arrow on a line just isn't good enough. Please include a banner which displays the current road you’re driving on. Many times you enter branching subdivisions, complex Interstate crossings or streets where their names aren’t visible. A current street location banner answers the questions where am I, did I turn onto the street, without having to ‘figure it out’ deciphering the map or entering a driving direction.
