2. Notify nearby drivers of safety alerts such as headlights

   I notice cars driving in the dark with day time running lights on. Their cars don’t automatically turn on their headlights and taillights but do turn on their dash lights. It would be nice to send them an alert and even instructions (especially if they are in a rental) to turn on their lights. It must be scary for them to drive with basic no headlights and it’s scary for me to see people drive without taillights. There can be other safety alerts such as the gas door open/ cap hanging. This would be an opt in thing to help young and non-car enthusiasts get help from the Waze community.

3. Please add back "types" of intersection permanent hazard

   Please add back in the ability to identify intersection hazards. Many intersections I've identified when they first rolled out as "Dangerous Intersection" and/or "Hidden Intersection" are now being confusingly announced as basically "Complex Intersection". Dangerous and/or Hidden is a more accurate description for those that are. Please reconsidering adding these back, as they were originally available when the PHs first came out. Thanks!!

   ​A interface atual do Waze, com as mesmas cores e design há anos, pode se tornar monótona para motoristas profissionais. Sugiro a implementação de uma função com, pelo menos, cinco temas visuais diferentes. 5. Speed is not readable that small. Also put the bloody sign into the box for speed camera so i can finally see the limit!

   Need the sign with the number in the box for speed alert box!! So many times i dont know the limit and the alert doesn't help at all!! Use the space that box is massive! Put the sign in it.

8. Launcher not functional

   The latest update prevents use on the mobile screen while connected to Android Auto. The button to intentionally exclude Waze from the Android launcher is not functional. The Waze map only works on the car screen (if Waze is included in the launcher). If Waze is not in the launcher, the map does not work on the phone and, regardless of the settings, it refers to Android Auto and only displays line-by-line navigation commands on the phone, not the map. Please restore the original settings and fix the update error!

9. CarPlay (iOS 26) – unable to select destination suggestions when searching

   Hello,
   after updating to iOS 26, the destination suggestions in Waze on CarPlay stopped working.
   The suggestions appear when typing, but they cannot be selected. I always have to type the full address and press search.
   Before iOS 26 this worked fine, and it was safer than typing the whole address.
   Please fix this issue. Thank you.

10. Activate voice input when report button is pushed in Android Auto/Carplay or phone app

    I would like the report button to start listening for voice prompts when pushed on the phone or android auto/carplay. I use Google Assistant for most reports and by the time I say “Ok Google” then wait for the prompt, then use voice reporting the pin is dropped significantly beyond what I was trying to report. Fumbling around with android auto to find the correct category is less safe and less direct than voice reporting and I usually end up hitting the wrong category.

11. Ability to Mark Playground zones

    Hello, I would like to see the ability to mark the start and finish of playground zones, very similar to marking school zones. Some playground zones are marked with times and others are marked from sunset to sundown which can pose a local problem depending but in general can still be marked using seasonal general times.

18. Add Dismiss/Ignore/Close/X button on alerts and warnings

    My screen is constantly flooded with Car on Shoulder, Object on Road, etc etc etc all the time. They take up half the screen! When these pop up, I can't report other hazardous things because these alerts and warnings take away the Report button.

    Allow us to dismiss, ignore, close, or exit out of alerts and warnings, rather than just "Still There" and "Not There". There is a huge difference in these.

20. Car Play Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze Turn By Turn Dirrections Appearing On Instrument Cluster

    Please allow users to enable and disable turn-by-turn directions in the instrument cluster. I don’t want to see it on my instrument cluster when I already have it on my navigation screen. Turn-by-turn directions on the instrument cluster were only available before on Apple Maps, recently Google Maps added it without any mention in the app update notes and no option in the settings to turn it off. I’m glad it’s not yet available on Waze because users can not turn off this feature in vehicle settings CarPlay settings, phone settings not even steering wheel settings! The only way to disable it is with a dealer scan tool! Unless Apple, Maps Car CarPlay, and Waze add this as an option in their next update please make it an option in the settings for on / off to give customers the choice on the maps they are using. I have spent hours doing research and reading forums users are frustrated. I contacted Apple Maps / CarPlay and Google Maps as well. They need to add this as an option because what customers like me have discovered is that it’s not necessary to show it in the instrument cluster when it’s been previewed on a large navigation screen.     Please allow users to enable and disable turn-by-turn directions in the instrument cluster. I don’t want to see it on my instrument cluster when I already have it on my navigation screen. Turn-by-turn directions on the instrument cluster were only available before on Apple Maps, recently Google Maps added it without any mention in the app update notes and no option in the settings to turn it off. I’m glad it’s not yet available on Waze because users can not turn off this feature in vehicle settings CarPlay settings, phone settings not even steering wheel settings! The only way to… more
