The problem is generalized in the whole country, just take a look at the comments on google play. Please dont hide "report" icon when map is moved from current position.
When i
m driving and want to report something, i sometimes touch ipad display near the button, which triggers map shifting from "gps position" and report button disappears, while im clicking on left button to bring back waze to my position, i`m driving away from the point i wanted to report. That's really annoying. Please dont hide report icon at all (always report at current gps position or make option to change such behaviour )2 votes -

Include the official identification as an alternate name
Include the official identification of trade places as an alternative name form so that the user can search and find his destination through this information.
Example:
In the USA, the Tax Identification Number (TIN)
In Brazil, the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ)With this we can encourage the use of Waze by users of commerce and logistics, who use this information as standard in the identification of their customers.

Police report improvement
Hello! I have an idea to improve police report, because it is one of most important part. Please put the quick police button (one-click report) on the main screen, when are "my place" button and NORTH-place. This button also may be hidden as others. In practise - one click on screen, buttons appears and click police. It will be less dangerous to report while driving. Thank you in advance.

Difficult to cross street w/out stop sign for cross traffic and bikes
It's virtually impossible to cross Milwaukee when you're on Racine - there is no stop sign for Milwaukee and there are TONS of bike riders. Please reroute so drivers are not trying to cross a no stop sign street - especially at rush hour.

Get rid of Google
Cuz Waze juzt plain sucks now. I love it when you give alternate routes and I pick one because I sure as hell know this area better than your AI and I also know what happens when the area has an event. Three times, THREE in 10 minutes I have to pick an alternate route today because your app ignores the route I have picked and sends me right into the area which I am trying to avoid. Passenger mode
So here's the deal: Waze is great bc it helps users find the best route and helps businesses let users know they are nearby. The problem is, drivers are (I hope) more focused on the road than the road, so a significant percentage of the paid ads go unnoticed. But there is a solution: make using waze fun for a passenger. Here's how to do that: enable a passenger mode (yes, I know, we can already select "passenger" but we all know that's legal bs) whereby they are engaged in the app playing a game with various advertisers, perhaps a…

Call or text a friend before pickup
a feature that lets you mark contacts as friends you're picking up, maybe save their addresses.
and 5 minutes before reaching the destination to pick up the friend
Send an auto text saying something like "hey it's waze, name will pick up you up in 5 minutes, (s)he's driving a black toyota"
And by 2 minutes before, suggest to call that friend, or auto call to let him/her know that you're out, waiting.
All of this planned when starting off the navigation, and without touching the phone.2 votes -

J'utilise la dernière version Androïd disponible (4.24.0.2), et je suis souvent gêné par les très (trop) nombreuses bulles indiquant le nom des rues sur mon trajet.
Cela masque fréquemment des intersections, et n'apporte aucune d'aide à la navigation.Puis-je les désactiver ? Comment ?

Stop sending warning about available Waze updates, esp. on a Holiday
EVERY time I update Waze I have a subsequent problem. Today, the Memorial holiday in the USA, I get a notification of a Waze update available. I am aware of this update since February 9th.
1. EVERY time I update Waze I have problems. My current problem that has existed since I last updated is that when I click on the notice at the top of my Galaxy S4 for 'its time to start driving' the destination information disappears.
2. I have reviewed the information on the Waze update still to download and I DO NOT NEED a voice recorder…1 vote
