Allow each registered user to indicate he/she has access to a road that needs authorization. At this moment these routes are not considered.

1 at home which only allows acces to habitants of our suburb
2nd at work, with a bypass road for employees only.
When taking both bypasses the time to work is about 30% shorter than what Waze proposes1 vote -
Option to share your drive
It would be awesome to be able to share my drive and MUSIC with those I've decided to share my ride with. Just like TWITCH or Facebook live. So that when people you're going to pick up can chat with you live and hear whatever track youve got going. Adding something like twitch, fb live or periscope functionality would make waze The Ultimate social GPS!

Bonjour ! Impossible de cliquer sur "oui c'est moi" pour me faire reconnaitre par waze. J'ai changé de téléphone et je ne suis plus reconnu. De plus, il faudrait que l'on puisse vous contacter pour résoudre ce genre de problème.

Time since road been driven
Tells user most recent time since another wazer traveled that road, highway, street, etc.
This idea would allow users to know accuracy of road reports, or if none be aware of possible reports.

Op[tion to have Waze announce services (food, gas, hotel, etc.) at approach to next interstate exit
While traveling on interstates I would love Waze to announce the services at the next exit, or even the next few exits upon request. Something like "Next exit 33 has Shell, Chevron, Arbys, Mcdonalds, Sheratin, Hotel 6." This would be great while traveling alone and not able use the search feature while driving. When I need services, I always seem to see them just as I pass the exit! (I will be embossed if this feature is already available, and I just have not found it yet.)

Use the accelerometers from the smartphones to get data of the pavement conservation.
Like a small seismograph, the app can use a smart algoritm to monitor the quality of the pavement. This data can be used an accessed by user and can be sold to the government, mayors and engineering company's.

Incident/slowdown on map view when selecting route
About a year ago, when using the map view to select a route on the Android app, you were able to see traffic slowdowns. This was super helpful when trying to decide which route to use. Currently, when you view the list, it shows traffic speeds by color and incidents/hazards/police, but there is no way to know exactly where the accident or slowdown is located. If you look at the map view, the proposed route is all one color, and doesn't show slowdowns or incidents.
It would be great to at least see the orange, yellow, and red colors for…

Street name shown when just driving
Would be nice when just driving without being directed but still have the app open to report, that you can show the street heading at the bottom like you when in a directed route.

Make the 'road travelled' a different colour than the 'road ahead'
I would like to see a difference in colour (or shading, or something ...) between the road already travelled and the road still ahead. Having both parts the same colour can be very confusing in twist-and-turn situations.

Improved reporting of wrong speed limits
When reporting a wrong speed limit, for suggestable speed limits the current speed fractionable by 5 above and below should be available as selection. Driving at proper speed that would easily allow to report the correct speed.
