Improve usability for EV drivers
Please add more EV friendly information. Have no option to choose EV as fuel type and doesn't show charging stations. Since buying my car, I've actually found Google Maps a far better option but do miss the community reporting of Waze as its not as good in Google Maps

exceeded speed limit voice instead of beeping
Please add the option to hear a voice warning like "you're driving to fast" or in dutch "je rijdt te snel".

Alternate route for immediate area
My commute is 13 miles both city and highway. When i have issues near my house, Waze needs to offer alternate route based on proximity. I need to find a new route where i am at, not at the end. For now, i just turn to force it to do something else.

Grammar
Please change the voiceover to say drive “safely” NOT drive “safe.” It’s an adverb. Or say “Have a safe drive,” used as an adjective.

Add rest areas on interstates
Add listing for rest areas along the interstate. Provide mile marker locations where available. As you ride WAZE will alert a driver to an upcoming rest area much like it would advise of a car on the side of the road.

timing of alerts
is there any way WAZE can have the speed limit changes switch a little earlier, cos at the moment I can go 50ft or more past the speed limit change before the waze updates the change. certain plods near east gordano set up traps right behind the speed limit sign,

Scooby Doo Mystery Machine
I'm confident that the Mystery Machine van from the Scooby Doo cartoons would be a very popular car icon, not only with Boomers and Gen X'ers but with every generation!

Different colour for bad weather reports
I have always noticed that bad weather reports have the same colour as general hazard reports. Wouldn't it be better to put the bad weather reports on a light blue that perhaps indicates something to do with the weather or on a bright red that indicates a more serious danger than the 'classic' yellow generic hazards?

Allow users to select lanes blocked when reporting an accident
When reporting an accident, allow users to select if the right lane is blocked, left lane is blocked, all lanes are blocked, or if the accident is on the shoulder.

Road Name Display
Show current road name in a bubble at the bottom of the screen without having a route selected. This would help when traveling in an unfamiliar area and want to know the name of the streets you are on. This could be added as an option under the navigation group so it would only be shown when selected.

Push the start date limit for road closures an extra month in the future
Right now, map editors can place road closures at most one year in advance. When an event ends, they often announce next year's date. It would be handy if we could add those closures at that point, even if the event will take place like a weekend later next year. Now, we often have to set a reminder to add these next week or so. Therefore, I'd like to propose this limit gets pushed one extra month in the future, making the limit 12+1 months. It might be best to adjust this limit for some other related things, such as…

Lucifer Morningstar as a Navigation Voice
I’d love to suggest adding Lucifer Morningstar (from the Netflix series Lucifer) as a voice option for navigation.
He’s charming, sarcastic, effortlessly confident, and always has something clever to say—traits that would fit perfectly into Waze’s fun, personality-filled navigation style. His voice (played by Tom Ellis) would make any drive more entertaining.
Lucifer already has a massive fanbase, and his personality is made for this kind of feature.

HGV and other vehicles
It would be really useful to have vehicle options for the weight and size of your vehicle. I.e HGV as this would really help with knowing a better ETA time me as lorries have to go slower and also plan the route for HGVs over 7.5 ton
