active traffic bar
waze would be the PERFECT nav app if it had one more thing...an active traffic bar like the "copilot gps" app. seems like you could just take the traffic jam bar you already have (which is not very useful) and turn it into a permanent bar on the side of the map that reaches out to the end of the destination or up to maybe 50 miles or so...and updates every 5 mins or so with green/yellow/red based on traffic along the route. mapquest does a basic form of this but it's not quite right...however, copilot gps does it perfectly.…

Control audio warnings as a user option
In the audio, there are only 3 options. Please add a 4th option as a " user option" There you can not only set the type of warning, but also control the amount of " before exit/turn " warnings. Today, you either have all of them ( 3 ) or nothing. I would like to have for example only 1 waning for exit + Police + speed camera and nothing else. Anyone can chose and set his own preferences on the audio notification.

Amélioration navigation Waze
Bonjour , étant Ambulancier et utilisant Waze pour les transports et les missions samu, j'ai quelques propositions à vous faire. Premièrement , lors d'un trajet il arrive qu'on tombe dans un ralentissement ou un bouchon , est il possible de faire en sorte que Waze recalcule automatiquement le trajet pour les éviter , je sais qu'il le fait de temps en temps mais l'amélioration serait un plus .
Deuxièmement, au niveau du paramétrage de l'essence , est il possible de rajouter le sp95 ?

Haptic alert
Hi
I want all speed alerts to be vibrational - via Apple Watch. I need the feature to be active all the time, so when I run out door and jump in car I know I will be alerted every time I exceed a speed limit. I need the vibration to continue until speed is back within limit.
This is essential for a motorcycle rider and I think best option for car driver also, you can be looking at phone or expecting to hear a ph in noisey environment, let alone feel a vib from phone in a loose coat…

Navigation Option: No notifications for a specified radius from home (Do I need turn directions to get out of my neighborhood?)
Allow a user defined radius where turn by turn instructions are not announce for areas familiar to the driver, i.e. driving out of their neighborhood or the route to the interstate. Allow warnings and alerts to be announced so driver may decide to reroute.

Ability for area managers to add road closures and long-lasting hazards in areas they manage
Instead of having to rely on the high level requirement in certain countries, area managers should be able to add road closures and long-lasting hazard notices on the map in the areas they manage. Currently we have to rely on Country Managers who are already busy and it creates unnecessary work for us having to create map multiple map views and copy paste links every few weeks when we could just do it ourselves. Opção para o Waze se desligar automaticamente quando se chega ao destino.
O Waze poderia ter uma opção para que ele se desligue automaticamente quando se chega no destino.
A voz, poderia té mesmo anunciar isso, quando ela diz "Você chegou ao seu destino", se a opção de desligamento automático estiver selecionada, ela completaria "O Waze se desligará automaticamente em x segundos". X variando de 5 a 10 segundos.
E aparece uma tela especial, com a frase "O Waze se desligará automaticamente em x segundos" e aparece a contagem regressiva e duas teclas "Desligar" ou "Cancelar o desligamento automático".
Esta tela inclusive poderia ter propaganda que não atrapalha em nada a navegação.5 votes -

Soy mujer, vivo en la Ciudad de México, y con frecuencia me veo en la necesidad de transportarme hacia lugares que están muy lejos de mi casa, por lo que desconozco las rutas. Driver license plate scanning
While you are driving there are a lot of dangerous and crazy drivers, also drivers who has problems with their lamps and other electronics.
It would be great to notify them via your mobile phone. The system is easy, you scan their license plate with your camera and you can send a message to the car next to you, after the message the other driver has the chance to answer, then you can chose if you want to continue the conversation or not

Hulpdiensten
Het zou fijn zijn dat wanneer er prioriteit hulpdiensten in de buurt zijn ( naderen ) dat er een signaal afgegeven wordt of dat je dit kunt doorgeven door op een melding te klikken zodat mensen aan de kant kunnen gaan. Zeker in de spits is dit handig. Mensen hebben vaak muziek aan of zien de hulpdiensten niet op tijd waardoor ze toch vaart moeten minderen. It will be perfect if we could plan a route, connect on the map with the other driver friends on the road.

Enforcement trailer
Germany and parts of Europe experience a whole new kind of speed cameras since a year or so, the so-called "enforcement trailers".
Since two months these are used on the german Autobahn on a regular basis.
The trailers are moved from place to place and stay there for up to two weeks. The places are used recurrent, e.g. there are 40 places in North Rhine Westfalia and 10 trailers, every place get's a trailer once in a while.Marking them as mobile speed camera is useless, since they always disappear because of the low waze usage in germany.

Drawbridge Alert - Beta test a citizen based alert that lets drivers know if there is a scheduled bridge opening
We have a historic drawbridge that backs traffic up for sometimes over and hour. Could we beta test a citizen based alert that lets drivers know if the bridge is scheduled to open so that drivers could take alt route, to alleviate traffic? Bridge openings can be determined by monitoring marine VHF radio channel 9. Locals listening could log in and alert drivers and cyclists that there is an upcoming opening.
