  1. accept GPS coordinates as destination

    Most apps which derive GPS. location express numerically as

    latitude comma longitude

    please accept each with decimal precision to 19 digits

    also add logic to accept paranthetic coordinates

  2. Ability to select the types of hazards to enable/disable

    Sometimes, certain hazards are not very helpful and are more of a distraction than anything. For example, vehicles stopped on the shoulder, weather, and missing sign are not very important and I dismiss them every time I see it. At times I feel like disabling hazards altogether.

  3. Create a Report category for "Faulty Traffic Lights"

    Traffic lights are a major cause of traffic delays when out. Currently there is no way to report this specific problem.

  6. Average Speed / ANPR Camera Reporting

    As well as normal Gatso type speed cameras, increasingly automatic number plate recognition / average speed cameras are used in the uk. Being able to report them & their speed limit, and having a notification that you're within the average limit would be priceless.

  7. Add a traffic bar to map

    Have a "Traffic Bar" that appear in the routes screen overlayed on the main map.
    add a car to the bar that moves along with your journeys completion.
    So when you are 85 percent home, the car has moved 85 percent up the bar.

    Also when the Bar-Car (Maybe we should think of a better name) gets near an event an audible alert gets triggered, like when you near a Cop it could say “Oh cock, its the Rozzers!” Or just “Police reported ahead”) Or when you are near a obstacle on road you could be warned – e.g. “Johnny…

    בתחילת נסיעה תיהיה לך אפשרות לבחור בפונקצייה שאתה אומר לאפליקצייה ששמת את הילדים איתך באוטו, ובסוף הנסיעה האפליקצייה תשלח הודעת תזכורת לא לשכוח את התינוק/ילדים. חשוב מאוד במיוחד בימים כאלה חמים ושכולנו לא שמים לב כל כך.

  10. A button for HOV or non-HOV

    There should be a button to tell Waze whether the car is in the HOV lane. 1), it would help Waze better determine traffic speed since it wouldn't average Wazer's in the HOV lanes with the speeds of those driving slower. 2), the Map would/could show the average speed of HOV or non HOV speeds. A Wazer in the HOV lane could really impact the accurate speed average shown (and vice versa).

    Great news. Setting to avoid toll roads is already available globally. It is also possible to mark dangerous zones on map editor level, so the app could warn you if your route goes through one of dangerous zones.

    Great news. This feature is already available and configurable on map editor level per country. Please contact map editors in your country to request an update to available fuel types list in the app.

  14. Ability to order favorites locations

    Every time I add a location to my favorites, it pushes my old ones down. I want the ability to choose to mostly used favorites to show on the top.

  15. Display the name of current city / village

    Make the application display the name of the city or village that you are currently in.
    Maybe also the name of the next city / village that you'll reach on your trip will be nice to have displayed with a smaller text font

  16. Home and Work favorite should have "use current location" to add, not just search for address

    This favorite is great. But it should have a "Use current Location" button to add your Work and Home. Searching for an address it will not show exactly where the house is, in this case in Ecuador, if it's a new home or not on the database.

  17. show street name currently on

    It would be great to show the name of the street you're currently on, as well as that of the next turn. Also, show the name of the street you're on when not in navigation mode.

  18. Set destination and arrival time and alert me when it's time to leave

    Based on current conditions, alert me 5-15 minutes before I need to leave so that I can arrive at a set time.

  19. Speeding alert for drivers

    Waze should make a sound to alert the driver when they are speeding.

    Waze already shows you how fast you are currently driving, and it knows everything about the road you are on, so it should be simple to compare your speed to the listed speed of the road.

    Waze has always been about saving time and money for Wazers, and about creating features to attract and keep people on their service.
