Waze already detects traffic speed in real time. Please add an optional voice warning such as:
"Heavy traffic ahead. Reduce your speed."
Trigger the alert when the average speed drops abruptly (for example, from 100 km/h to below 30 km/h within a short distance).
This would improve safety on highways by giving drivers more time to brake smoothly and reducing rear-end collisions. The feature should be optional in Settings.

In France, electric cars are now sold more than traditional gas cars.

Subject: Feature Request: "Convoy Mode" - Real-time Route Sharing for Multiple Cars

To the Waze Development Team,I am a daily Waze user and a big fan of your navigation system. However, there is a missing feature that would greatly improve the experience for many users: a true "Convoy Mode" or Group Navigation.

Reoccuring online check
Waze appears to check for an internet connection only when the app first starts. If no connection is available at that point, it switches to an offline-maps-only mode. However, it does not seem to check again for connectivity while the app remains open.
For example, my car’s Wi‑Fi can take a few minutes to start after the ignition is turned on. If I open Waze before the Wi‑Fi is connected, the app stays offline even once the connection becomes available. Multi Waypoint Route Planning
Provide multi waypoint route planning, allowing shaping points for tailoring routes, and a library to store routes.
This could be achieved online via Google Maps and synch to Waze app, perhaps under a Subscription model.

Network issues
When gps or network can't be found because you parked in a car park or garage. Can the app try and find a gps connection or network connection again ever 30 seconds or a minute for when you have reception again so waze can get updates.
When waze suggests directions to a regular destination. Can the box disappear after 30 seconds or a minute. The box stays indefinately at present and it's annoying to click on each time you start the car after stopping cause waze thinks it knows where you want to go.

New tag
I would like to propose a new tag to go with the police category. With the proliferation of license plate readers, I think there should be a new, separate tag for those. In my area, numerous people are tagging the readers as mobile police cameras, which is incorrect. I think it would benefit all users to add this tag.

Feature Request: Introduce Dimension-Based Vehicle Routing for Japan and Asia
Dear Waze Team,
I would like to propose the introduction of dimension-based vehicle restrictions.
Currently, Waze primarily relies on vehicle categories and passes, which work well in many Western regions. However, in Japan and much of Asia, road restrictions are strictly based on physical dimensions—specifically height, width, weight, and vehicle length.
Because current categories cannot fully account for these physical limitations, large vehicles often face risks or get stuck on unsuitable roads.

Speed camera visual
I would like to provide feedback regarding the recent changes to speed camera alerts in Waze.
The previous speed camera warning system was much better and easier to see while driving. The blue progress bar provided a clear visual indication that a speed camera was ahead and remained visible as you approached and passed it.
The new circular camera indicator is much less noticeable and is harder to see at a glance. It requires more attention to the screen than the previous design, which defeats the purpose of having a clear and safe warning system.

Options for economical routes / shorter distance routes
It would be good if waze did something similar to google maps where it shows you the fastest routes but also shows you a more economical route that may take a bit longer but saves distance or saves fuel a bit.

Allow multiple custom voice recordings per command (randomized playback)
Please allow users to upload or record multiple audio variants for each command, and let Waze randomly choose one during navigation.
This would make custom voices far more natural, fun, and less predictable.
Even a simple “playlist” of recordings per command would greatly improve the feature.Thank you for considering this enhancement.

Stop limit for 1 intermediate stop (waypoints)
More than "one stop" limit on the route. At the moment you can set only 1 stop on my route.
I like to use waze for motorcycle trips, often a loop, staring at home, finishing at home.
Also if you have a route reset and you want to add a petrol station, it doesn't let you.

Reduce Distance in which School Zones are Merged
Currently, two school zones with 500 m (1640 feet, or about 0.31 miles) will be merged. This can lead to the driver being told they are within a school zone for over 0.5 miles, when they are not. The criterion for merging should be a shorter distance, with no merging if the zones have different speed limits.

Hi Waze Team, I’d like to propose a feature: when searching for gas stations, restaurants, or parking lots along my active route, Waze should first display the ones that are directly on my route and on the same side of the road I'm driving on, leaving the ones off-route for the end of the list. It would be much more practical.
