Let me view routes while using CarPlay
New update has disabled viewing different routes on phone, feature was very helpful as it displayed toll prices.

Remove the screen distractions
There are way too many map distractions/popups in the latest update. The drive/go now that pops up everytime Waze starts up is annoying and the main reason I left Google maps. Many of the added features (thank you pop-up on reports, resume drive) are totally unnecessary and there should be a way to customize it for users that do not want to see those distractions on the screen.

Why is the road works warning now a generic ‘Hazard’?
It’s important to give warnings as specific as possible so a driver concentrates on the road rather than studying a screen to find out what’s up. Forcing me to divert my attention to phone or display screen is downright dangerous. Please revert to specific warnings in the interest of road safety.

Félicitations !Mais sur Android auto connecté à mon écran de voiture les indications de direction (rectangle noir en haut à gauche) sont trop grosses.
Surtout sur des écrans moins grands de 8 à 10 pouces.
On peut imaginer les réduire en taille ?

Please allow business owners to easily claim or add, and manage their business locations. I am a marketing manager of a franchise business with multiple physical locations across the country. I checked Waze and most of our locations are completely missing. I am unable to add any location because of the map editor restrictions regarding my physical location. Show traffic as a bar on car screen as it appears on phone screen
Currently traffic bars for various routes appear on phone screen but not on the car screen when using Carplay. Summary traffic bars for various routes is too valuable to not have

Change is voice directions
First of all amazing app, used google map 4 times in london and got lost every time, first time used this app got me where I needed to every time.
Like to add one small suggestion, I use this app with my phone in pocket and a earpiece so can’t see the screen.

2 major bugs affecting Carplay
For many months now Waze has had 2 infuriating bugs in Carplay
1) Stops dynamically rerouting if I try to check alternative routes. To get it to return to normal I have to close the alternative routes screen on my car's infotainment screen (OK, that's normal), but then I also need to pick up and unlock my phone so I can close the alternative routes display on the phone as well. Until I do that, Waze gets stuck following the highlighted route and stops rerouting if I deviate from the highlighted route. It took me MONTHS to figure out what…

To support more signaling option in Waze for Car play
I've noticed that not all signaling options in the iPhone version of Waze are available in the CarPlay version, for example no blocked/closed way is available, so it's not possible to have Waze rerouting ignoring a blocked way.

bug fix
The new update of waze has possibly introduced a bug on Android auto. When in the context of waze it is impossible to exit out of it on android auto i.e. to the menu option. This was working previously when for example the physical back button of my car controls was pressed. Could you please reinstate this as it was i.e. back button on a non touch system android auto highlights the menu option outside of the WAZE context. Tested on google maps and all is good there i.e. back button takes you out of google maps and highlights menu…

Allow users to type in names of their favorite retailers, restaurants, gas stations, and more
I would like Waze to notify me of my favorite retailers, gas stations, restaurants and other things along my drive regardless of where I am driving and without me having to search for them and add them as a favorite. If I could have an area in the app where I could type my favorite places in once and then Waze is always searching and notifying me of them as I drive this would be a huge convenience. Bing sound when turns come up in the alert mode only
Your not understanding what I’m saying. I have my waze on alerts only. But I’m asking that you add the bing sound when your turn comes up while on alerts only mode. Call me if you don’t understand what I’m trying to say.

Add the sailboat car icon back!
Their was a sailboat icon you could have in the map display under “car icon” and it very well suited the boat I’ve been driving on the road. I think that it should be added back. It also made it so I have no icon on my map since it was removed.
