  3. Make camera/police notification distance speed dependent

    In low speed zones, there will be a notification for a camera coming up in 600 meters. That's way too far: at 50kph, I'll have forgotten about it by the time I get there.

    The other way around, 600 meters might be too short on a highway, at high speed (especially if the camera/speedtrap is reported slightly ahead of where it actually is)

  4. Waze Upgrade

    Dear Waze Company,

    I am writing to you to propose the potential upgrade of Waze.

    The upgrade I am proposing is that each user has an emoticon or icon (emoticons, random small photos, or photos of the users and the car and number plate).

    The upgrade involves enabling interaction between users by touching the icon of the user on the screen, and then communicating freely by using a drop down menu allowing messaging or choosing from a menu of interactions such as emoticons or speech.

  5. Route planning for group pleasure drives

    I have been using waze for a long time now but recently had to install G maps for a planned group drive round the Peak District. Lucky I had my hand held radio as maps was totally useless, but does let a multi stop planned route be shared with everyone, even if I found it unusable.

    Can waze please add this feature so the drivers who drive for the fun and enjoyment with others can do so simply and easily? Preferred route selection stop to stop that's entered by the creator and fixed for client?

    I have a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. I use either Waze or Maps every time I drive. For most of my driving, I don't need any nav assist but I want to stay up to date.

    So, for about 6 years, I have been using your app. Here's a brief summary of my comments/suggestions/etc. I do NOT expect anything to change since my Alfa is a non-touchscreen setup. I have to do everything with the rotary knob.

I have since received two emails requesting more information but none of the links work for me. Please pass on to the appropriate party that my report was a mistake and consider adding a cancel button/icon. I'm sure many people inadvertently make an incorrect report that they wish they could take back. Thank you.

  8. Keep turn alerts on the screen!

    In the past if I had to turn off the main road to the left in 10 Km - I would have a left arrow on the screen showing 10 Km with the number decreasing as I approach the turn.
    For the past couple of years you've changed things around that on every approaching junction the left arrow turns to a straight arrow - making me fully confused as to how far my turn is.

  9. Add an end of journey “don’t forget your pet” alert

    I work in emergency veterinary practice and sadly have seen animals die horrible deaths and owners left devastated because they made a one-off mistake of accidentally leaving their dog in the car on a hot day. I cannot overstate how horrible it is for an animal to die this way. I’d love to see an alert similar to the ‘child left in car’ alert or just the wording to remind the driver to check for both children AND pets.

  11. Reports' Favorites

    I want to tap one less time. Most of my reports are the same - traffic, cars on shoulders, and police. Instead of tapping one time to hit the reports, the second time to pick a category, and a third time to report on what I want, I want one time to hit the reports and second time to touch the favorite report.
    I just noticed the phone's app allows for long press to do these three things, but I use CarPlay, and still, I don't want to long press, I just want taps.

    To be able to ad a coustomized text or so.

    to be able to edit the report later on, or note to self. that is shown in editor.

    Changeable work start time. when setting your place of work a settable arrival time would be useful especially if you do shift work. My notifications seem synced to our opening hours so i don't get a commute notification untill over an hour after I've started.
