Since the latest update to iOS, the volume level of the music and the overall volume of the iPhone has been merged into one master control.
This affects both apps and music volumes. I understand that there are users who are experiencing louder volumes and others like me, who are experiencing volumes that are too low. If the range of volume for Waze is increased, then users who experience volumes that are too low or too high can adjust to their own specifications.

I ride a bicycle and a motorcycle, so I can't see the waze screen, also, I like to hear music with my android.
The navigation volume in the Waze is set up to max; but it is too low comparing to the music.
So, I have to choose, To hear waze and become deaf with the music or,
To hear music at a normal volume and get lost in my bike.
I really, really like waze.
Please fix it.

The volume is way too low. I play music from iheartradio while using waze through a Bluetooth audio device and my friends think I'm deaf cause of my volume being really high.

Play some audio (or a sample direction) after I make adjustment to the volume slider so I can hear the new volume and/or output.

I love Waze. I have an HTC One X. I cannot get Waze to push through the bluetooth into my car speakers even though the phone is paired with the car. THe volume from Waze is so low that I cannot hear it even though I moved the slider all the way and upped the volume for the app on my phone. Any ideas on what else I can do? If not, I will have to find another navigation app, but I really like Waze......

When using the regular iphone 5 speaker (not bluetooth) the volume is much lower than from other nav applications (iphone maps). Make it louder. Even better, make the volume increase as vehical speed increases.

Unable to control the volume of Waze when taking a phone call. This results in Waze shouting at me. Waze should be able to drop down a minimum of 3db, when taking a call.

Right now, the only way around this is to use another app and adjust media volume. It is rather dangerous to be messing with another app, while driving.

please increase the GAIN of voices. We are not on a info lab, we are driving trough a noise city. I's impossible listen to the hints with the atual volum.

Change the Navegation guidance voice to more loud.

Yes there needs to be a volume control. When I listen yo music and have Waze on at the same time I can get a blast of Waze.

Volume level is very high with no control

Please add app-dependent volume - I have to have waze volume up HIGH to hear navigation but the same level in other apps is too loud.

I'm in the vavigation voice deafens me camp. So much so that I almost always have voice navigation muted just so I don't cause an accident by (literally) jumping when I get to the exit 40km up the highway.

In town it just drowns out any music I'm listening to ... but it still much better than the "I'm talking sooo slooow so that by the time I finish telling you which way to go you will be waaaaay past the intersection" that some other gps apps seem to like.

On my Samsung Galaxy Ace is navigation voice also really low.

On my Nexus S, while playing music with spotify, the navigation volume is so low that I can not hear it.
