Quick-report presets
The amount of phone interaction required for reporting is a bit onerous while driving. Tap to Report > select category > add optional additional info > send. I often skip reporting altogether to avoid distracting from driving.
I would love to see the ability to have one-touch presets for making reports from the main screen. A single tap to mark & send a report on an accident, hazard, or speedtrap, etc.
User might even be allowed to customize which presets are present and/or include specific text (i.e. "Left lane closed") for frequent events.
We plan to work on Quick-report presets in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

Like the speedometer label. Add a quick, semi transparent button for a police notification. Or other notifications. It is simply too many clicks and take too long to notify people of events. Clicking menu/ police/ hidden or visible/ send takes 15-45 seconds. At this point you are almost a mile past. A single button for police is much more accurate and usable and will get more people to use it. Good for everyone.

Now, I must tap on the screen 4 times, selecting different options in interface, to mark a danger in the road, like a vehicle in the shoulder of the road. It would be desirable to tap only once or two for this type of events.

Great idea, too many steps required to post a police officer. I one tap posting would place the officer in a more accurate place, eliminate taking eyes off the road as we tap through the menu.

Allow us to place icons we use on the map. So, when I drive by a police officer, I can quickly tap the icon once and it is placed on the map vs. the four taps required to have an alert posted.

Driving in the beach cities we see a lot of both stationary truck mounted radar as well as hand held radar (motorcycle or car), to add to the existing radar trap suggestion. Another (did not see this below quickly) would be for fire trucks at a location.
