in america, there are well over 3 million truckers. of them, if they had a trucker version or option on waze. it would help everyone because many times Truckers see things other people don't and can post quick updates. I am willing to Pay money for waze if a trucker version was released. please look in to either adding this option in to waze or creating a separate app for truckers and or heavy vehicles. I would use it.

I use to ride with Waze all around Paris in France and there is roads forbidden to motorcycle. Each time that is very strange and not easy to find the right way with my motorcycle. It will be fine to select kind of vehicul ( car, motorcycle, truck...)

If someone is driving a larger vehicle like an RV or towing a trailer (longer turning radius), avoiding U-turns would lessen the possibility that the vehicle would use a route that is not suitable. The route might be longer, but it would be safer.

Winters: it would be nice to be able to mark where the snow plow trucks are so you can travel behind them and be safer.

I am driving oldtimer bus and it would be very handy to know, where I can drive and where not. Here nearby I know the roads, but when I travel to an action not in my neighbourhood, I need to know, where is too low bridge or where is very weak bridge for bus weight.

Truck navigation in Waze would be ESSENTIAL. I don't understand why they still didn't make it!

It would be not good, but ESSENTIAL for all truck's drivers.

Хотелось бы написать свое мнение как водителя грузовика. Очень не хватает предупреждений о высоте проезда- моя машина 3.80 м а навигатор ведет под знак ограничения высоты 2.50 м. Номера домов не понятно с какой стороны улицы- слева или справа. И нет возможности выбирать маршрут по широким магистралям а не по узким улочкам- тут большая проблема. В общем, не для машин длинной 15 метров и шириной 2.50...

Do you intend to have version of your navigation platform specificaly for RV like (Rand Mc Nally) i love the regilar version of Waze , even if ther are a fee for the RV version tanks Encounter 13

L'idée serait d'intégrer la hauteur de passage et de proposer un détour dès le calcul initial de l'itinéraire, si la hauteur du véhicule est trop importante. Ces informations sont indiquées sur les routes, mais tout comme les radars, ce serait une sécurité supplémentaire pour ne pas se retrouver bloqué devant un petit pont sous lequel la galerie du camion ne passe pas... et ainsi de créer un bouchon...

לדעתי ממש יעזור אם יוסיפו אפשרות לבחירת כלי הרכב בו אני נוהגת לשיפור בחירת המסלול היעיל ביותר אל היעד. לדוגמא אני נוהגת באופנוע ולא מפריע לי שיש פקקים ואני מעדיפה שיתן לי את המסלול המהיר ביותר ללא התחשבות בתנועה.
דוגמא נוספת: משאיות שיש מקומות שבהן הן לא יכולות לנסוע בגלל הגובה שלהן וגשרים שיש בדרך
וכו
זה תוספת שתועיל ותשמש אותי ועוד הרבה אחרים!

הוספת אייקון בתפריט הוויז המאפשר לנהג לבחור בין מסלולי נסיעה לרכב כבד (בשל מגבלות משקל מעל 15 טון ומגבלות גובה מתחת ל 4.5 מטר) לבין שאר כלי הרכב . אוכלוסיית נהגי הרכב הכבד היא גדולה מאוד , ומשתמשת המון בתוכנת הוויז , ואפשרות כזו תביא להפחתת עומסים , חסימות כבישים , ותאונות . ותעלה את רמת הוויז והמשתמשים בה בכמה רמות .

Buna ziua. Sunt un mare fan al acestui program. Daca acest program ar fi dezvoltat si pentru camioane cred ca o sa aveti un mare succes in randul tiristilor. Mie unul mi-a mers foarte bine pe un windows phone si pot spune ca este ff precis si util acest program. Depending on the vehicle, the Waze users can have different expectations. A motorcycle, it is not impacted in the same way that car by traffic jam, so it is not always necessary to make a detour to save time. Waze should allow each user to specify the type of vehicle (motorcycle, car, truck) to propose the most appropriate route to his situation.

Perhaps what Waze could do is release a separate app called Waze Heavy Vehicle or something like that, for us heavy vehicle drivers. I would happily pay for a heavy vehicle version of Waze. Come on Waze: Take my my money!

On a side note, keep in mind that allot of young software programers nowadays don't even have a driver's license much less have they driven a heavy / commercial class vehicle for them to appreciate the unique challenges that come with it. I honestly get the feeling this thread is being ignored.
